I'm a member of goozex and have done a few trades on it. They are as legitimate and solid as any physical store I've been to. The only negative thing is that you aren't going to get any new games from them (Lost Odyssey is still pretty backed up and it's been over a month for that).

What about online serials for PC games? Say I wanted to get the Warcraft 3 battle chest, or the Dawn of War expansions? Is the serial considered part of the "full package" (including exclusive use of the serial)?

I've been using goozex for about a year and I got Big Brain Academy last week. The person who owned it before had a near-perfect save file on it, a genius' score ... so I erased all saves because it was making me feel stupid. :P

There are conflicting End User Agreements regarding the trading of MMOs that prevent the full transfer of title between users. Therefore Goozex does not allow members to trade these types of games.

No, this is not a "special deal". When you sign up using the link posted in the OP, you'll notice that there is a field that shows a "michael247" or some such as the referral. So, whoever the guy that provided the link posted that OP is, he's getting a crapload of points from us.
It's not a scam, but it is a bit flakey to pretend like its a special deal.
Edit: Apparently, its both a special deal and referral, as impersonator so politely pointed out. I stand corrected.

umm. Rock Band (game only) is 950 points. Special Edition is 1000. It costs $50 to buy 1050 points. Talk about savings!
You could easily sell Rock Band (special edition) for over $100 locally...
You'll also notice the game is requested but not available. No one's offering to trade it. And it never will be offered because no one's going to put up the $20+ to ship that sucker.

Good luck finding someone willing to send Rock Band or Guitar Hero in "full package" condition (the only condition where it's required that they send everything from the original retail box).
Actually ... upon checking the Rock Band Special Edition's trade info page, it's not a tradeable game.
Guitar Hero (Bundle) actually has a few available as the full package. I hope those traders were paying attention. The number of existing requests for the full bundle is also huge, demand exceeding the supply by about 30 times.

I got quite interested in this, but then I tried to put in my mailing address and even though one of the three countries listed in their 'country' drop box is Canada it doesn't recognize Canadian Postal codes, instead it says:
Bad field address form
blah blah blah, if your country doesn't have a zip code please leave this field blank
So I leave it blank and it gives me the same error again haha.

All I've traded away were the few games I disliked. I loathed thinking about trading them to the like of Gamestop, or having someone take a cut after all the fuss and risks with eBay. I've held onto some of them for years. I'm really very happy.
Fun story: My second match was with a guy who lived 15 minutes away, so I PM'd him about it, met him at a Starbucks, asked him to sign a little receipt. Delivered the game with a grin and a formal bow, saying "service with a smile!". Saved shipping and got fun positive feedback out of it .

I've been using Goozex for a few months now, and it has far exceeded my expectations. 90% of the games that I get are near mint condition and I've been unloading a ton of old games that I never play any more for far more value than they would be worth at a gamestop/eb. I only had one really messed up disc sent to me, and support had my points credited back within the hour. :^:
