You know, if you just NEED a few more points, you could buy them. I mean, I tend to just get points by trading away games, but if you want to get a specific thing without waiting they sell points at like 5 bucks for 100.
Been a Goozex user for a while, never had a problem with it.
Yeah, Goozex is fantastic. The only problem I've had with it so far was a mess-up with DMC4 (the guy sent the wrong version), but I managed to fix that up without too much trouble.
How do I buy a game?
Edit: What does turns mean on the request page?

Games cannot be purchased directly. To purchase points or trade credits, visit the "My Account" section and click either "refill trade credits" or "buy Goozex points".
To request a trade for points:
Search for the game and click the desired title. This brings up its details.
On this page, below the box art and some status icons, should be the button marked "Add to my requests".
Once clicked, the site should tell you that the request was successfully inserted and display your request listing.
Note the little condition icons next to the box art: you can request a game as:
"Full Package" Complete retail box & contents required. You'll be matched with an offer of the full package.
"Disc & Manual" Only the game & and manual are required. You could be matched for the full package too.
"Disc Only" Only the game itself is required, but you could be matched with a copy in any condition.
These options won't change the price but can help you get a match faster (wider pool to draw from the lesser the condition you'll take) or in more complete condition. It depends upon how much you care about the frills.
While waiting, you'll see how many "turns" are left. This is the queue for being matched and your position in that line. That said, even high turns often have a quick turnaround. Just today I put a game in my queue with a wait of 90 turns and I got matched within the hour. I think the turn count includes requests on hold, but when actually matching, those get skipped.
You'll be notified once your request is matched. Your match has ~1.5 days to accept or reject the trade proposal. If accepted, they agree to ship within one day or three days and you will be notified. If rejected/expired, your request will be returned to its previous queue position to be matched again.
Edit: Too slow, but I'll leave that for anyone else interested in the process.
In case you're as confused about the system as I was:
1. Offer/request games
2. Send game to person who requests it; you earn Goozex points
3. Pay $1 for a trade credit
4. Use trade credit and Goozex points to receive a requested game

A note to people who are just doing this for the free game: please don't be a dick. Remember to leave positive feedback after you get the game, otherwise the sender's trade gets left open for like three weeks.
Goozex has been good to me; I got rid of some crap I shouldn't have bought in the first place, and got good games in return. I managed to get 1000 points for Ikaruga like two weeks before it hit XBLA, which was nice. Some games can have quite a queue, though. We Katamari took almost a month of waiting, but hey, I got it!
If you're sending it with the dance pad for Xbox360, yes.
Edit: Though apparently 12 people have requested the Dance Pad package as "disc only".
The non-dance pad version is 500 points. I'm betting they weren't paying attention and would file grievance at getting only the game.
Yeah, as soon as I saw that I set mine up for trade not only to try this shit out but to get one hell of a deal, and I got an email saying I could send it to someone within like 10m, heh.
Gamestop would give like 5$ for this.
Wonder how much shipping will be.

Getting rid of stuff I shouldntve bought is my main priority.
Of course I reckon I'm just going to end up trading it for other stuff I shouldntve bought either :P

Fro games without peripherals, I can usually keep shipping down to $2 by sending via good old USPS First Class Mail and re-using the packaging from the game I last recieved, hastily closed up with packing tape. It makes sending 100 point games worth it (as 100 points can be bought for $5, although 100 point games can usually only be sold for like $0.50 at EBstop).

They don't go back that far, unfortunately.
I guess PS1 stuff made it because of backwards compatability.

Just be sure to call your service something better than Goozex. Goozex sounds like a title for a porn magazine. Goo sex?
Futurama's rare.
http://video-games.search.ebay.com/futurama_Video-Games_W0QQ_trksidZm37QQcatrefZC2QQfromZR40QQsacatZ1249QQtrgZQ2d1
I bought it for five bucks and traded it in for 10 bucks.
I traded for Anachronox.
All the posters on eBay ALWAYS say a game's rare, even if it's not.
I did the same thing with FF7 for the PC - the one with the trapezoid box. FF7 was selling for $80+ mint, last I checked.
CUZ THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE AND IT'S GIVING ME A RASH
This is the shit that makes me not trade in my games.
