Has anyone done one of those? I always wanted to, and there's two coming up this weekend that I could potentially surprise my gf with. One's at dave and busters for 35, the other one is at a restaurant for 62(although I can get it at stubdog for 49)

I'm just afraid it will end up being incredibly lame or cheesy. I know for these sort of thing there is an inheret cheesiness attached, but I'm wanting others experiences before I make up my mind.

    No personal experience.

But whats wrong with cheesy? The most important thing is you'll be going out and having fun with your girlfriend. She'll appreciate the surprise.

    Unless she's a bitch.

i did one once at a relative's house. it was ridiculously cheesy, but it was awesome because it was just with my family. we have the whole thing recorded and it was really fun because it was so crazy and a lot of the humor was off the cuff. i'd say it can't be too bad.

I have done a couple of weekend "whodunits" While they can be hokey, they can also be tons of fun if you get into the game. The weekend ones are more in depth than a dinner theater event but if you ever liked playing Clue then you should enjoy this. It is also good if you want to see what the teamwork potential is between you and your date.

Another day in the bike shop Pretty much what it sounds like. The secret lifestyle, laid open.

If the actors want to interact with you, play with them man. It makes everything better.
