Adjustable Playback Speed?

I'm looking for a media player or WMP plugin that I can use to slow down the playback speed of a recording. I need to transcribe a speech; the normal speed is a bit too fast and the WMP slow speed is way too slow.

Suggestions?

    Sounds like you're looking for something along the lines of Express Scribe. I haven't used it myself, but it came highly recommended on a freelance transcriptionist forum I frequent.
