Points for the Frank Zappa reference, but none for this thread. Big damn deal.

A lot of people do that. It's not copying Penny Arcade, I promise.

Apple sells red products under the same program, too.

    Nothing stolen from the PAs.

If anything, it's copying Bono, who helped start the (product)RED movement. It's on bales of stuff nowadays.

We like relatively long OP's here. Try something a bit bigger/more discussion next time.

Otherwise, welcome to the forums. We're a jolly lot.

Anyone notice how some things (mattresses and the copy machines in Highrise) are totally impenetrable? A steel wall, yeah that makes sense, but bullets should obliterate copy machines.

I don't know about you, but I always buy a bullet proof printer. Its a lot more expensive, but I think the advantages are apparent.

    Have a PRODUCT (RED) PC?

    Shouldn't that be (PRODUCT) RED?

If anything that was the joke of the PA comic.

"Ripping off" is definitely the wrong term. That said, it seems that Microsoft is attempting to atone for their release of "AIDS for Personal Computers,"
    HE MEANS VISTA LOL
by contributing money to the curing of "AIDS for people".

Nice catch by the OP. :)

That said, this campaign itself is for a good cause. As others have pointed out, MS is not the only company involved. It includes: Motorola, American Express, Gap, Apple, Dell, and more. You can read more about it here: http://www.joinred.com/
