CP "fiction" is more of a gray area. It probably shouldn't be, but I have a hard time getting my righteous fury up over loli manga, I guess because I see it as a "healthier" [o_OD::|] alternative to pursuing the real thing.

Neither do I, but I seem to have transitioned from "newbie" to "guy most people know and tolerate" over the past few weeks so I figured that was the next logical step.
I use it as a custom 'who's online' list.
It took awhile for me to hit that point here. I think it was because it took me awhile to figure out that the best way to build a reputation was to post in the [chat] thread.
Mods can see if I'm online even though I'm invisible, right?
I built up confidence in the WoW forum and when it got too slow for me came over here. Oh I also posted in the Harry Potter forum like woah so I knew Irene's name pretty well hehe.
I loved those first few days/weeks where I would post something in chat and no one would respond.

I think it also comes in handy for me, since I still struggle sometimes to remember exactly who I've had what conversation with, since I'm still learning personalities and such. Whenever I find myself goofing off here for an extended period of time I try to have at least a limited conversation with someone I haven't had a one-on-one with yet. I figure that's the best way to acclimate to the way things work here, since it's nice and open and it's not really cliquish like a lot of the other subforums.
I think I progressed from "guy who people know sort of and tolerate" to "guy who actually has friends on the board" when I started participating in Phallas.

Oh God that was awful. "I'm being funny why don't you people like meeeeeeeeee..." It's like the first week at a new school, except you don't have faces to go with the names. Will and Gim were the first to be nice to me, so they'll always have a special place in my heart.
Also I've been posting here pretty regularly for about six months now and I still don't think Than has ever responded/acknowledged a single thing I've written. :P
