UK Aston Martin Rental

This may be a really weird request, and I may not have any luck, but figured I'd try anyway.

It's my dads birthday coming up soon, and I'd like to get him something I know he'd enjoy, so I was looking to see the best way to rent an Astom Martin and take it round the Silverstone race track. Basically, I'm asking if anyone knows of the best place for this kind of thing, or if there are any deals or anything available.

Bonus points if Jeremey Clarkson can be involved in some way.

I'm not sure that anywhere that would rent an Aston Martin would let you take it around a race track. The best you could get would be to check out Super Car Clubs - there are clubs all over the country where you can pay a membership fee and borrow classic and modern sports cars for the weekend sort of deal. Again though, I don't know if they'd let you take it onto a race track for insurance reasons.

However, Silverstone have track cars that you can take around the track for a fee - http://www.silverstone.co.uk/php/de_specialOffers.html. A Ferrari is no Aston Martin, but on the other hand...it's a Ferrari. They also have a Lotus Exige.

Maybe do a half and half if the AM is critical - rent an Aston martin for the weekend and take a trip to Silverstone to run around the track in a Lotus or Ferrarri or whatever.

Not exactly, but still an Aston Martin...

Note, I have no experience with these Virgin Experience days, and don't really have all the information on how they work; I just ran across the site months ago and remembered it just now. Not really able to rent the car, but it gives you track time regardless.

Also, here in CA we actually have several rental companies that rent out expensive or random cars. Beverly Hills Rent A Car will rent a Vanquish for $3,500.00 per day or $21,000.00 per week, with about $2 per mile. Paying a couple pounds for a couple hours on the track is obviously preferred to this ridiculous sum...

That looks like so much fun that I'm actually thinking about excuses to plan a trip to London. Does anyone know of places in the US that provide similar track car joy rides?
