So my CRT has started displaying fucked-up colours. This screen is supposed to be entirely blue, but now has a patch of red, with a small area of green at the top. Earlier today all the red was simply green:
And this is my Wii menu, same colour distortion:
It only started last night, and was probably caused by a sharp knock when I turned it on. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
EDIT: In the five minutes since I posted, the redness has subsided to a very thin strip of green at the top of the screen, pulsating slowly. The rest of the screen is blue, as it should be. I'm still a little concerned - are there any diagnostics anyone can recommend?

Discoloration like that is usually due to some type of magnetic interference. Try taking the TV somewhere else - either a friends house or just a different area of your own, and see if that helps.
Ordinarily I would have assumed it was magnetic interference, but I'm the only person who's ever in my room and I haven't changed where this TV is or the things around it in months - except for one thing.
The thing on top of the TV in the images is a Wii Remote charging station. The Wii is directly under the TV and the charge station gets its power directly from the Wii. Is it possible that there's magnetism being built up due to that arrangement?
I've moved the charge station for now and I guess we'll see. If it doesn't disappear on its own I'll try to find a decent strength magnet.

I have never tried it, but a quick search shows many people who have, and many-a-youtube video of it being done. It's cheaper then a new TV.
