As the title suggests, very quick question

Could the FAA shut down an airline immediately? As in ground all flights for an unspecified amount of time?

Just having a row with someone over it

    Sure they can.

    edit: sorry if the recording sucks. I have no speakers, its just the first one I found.

    Also 9-11 is the only tuime they have grounded all flights ever.
