Also, I've got a colony ship on the way to 43:11 to join the marble team. Ask anyone who is on my islands, and you'll know this is a good thing, as much of my plunder gets added to the local mill and quarry. 43:11 will also be the local distribution point for your sulfur needs, so hit me in game when you are running too low. Once it's established and such.
Good, I could use the company. I'm at 43:8 (wine), and I'm planning to relocating to that cluster since my first colony (marble) is 28 hours away.
Oh. Someone is attacking my capital with 45 troops...which will all get turned around by my 14 war ships floating in my harbor...which will then have a sea battle against his 8 boats that someone sent to blockade my harbor 12 minutes after the troops are scheduled to land.
To hold that much crap in one location, you need a level 15 warehouse. That's 5746 wood, 2472 marble. Easy, right? Cumulatively, though, a level 15 warehouse is 27,689 lumber and 11,030 marble.
The more numbers I crunch the more ludicrous it becomes. :P

Being attacked by Zues54 over around my capital at 46:19. He attacked me my first day so I made sure he paid for that one gold he stole later on. Now his 10,000 military score is coming into direct conflict with my 37,000. Good luck Zues54. If you want to attack him back he is at Athens on 46:19 (Sulfur) and Troy at 46:20 (Marble). And his alliance is just him so don't worry about that, I think our top 100 alliance can take them. If you want to attack him, as soon as I get an action point back I'll blockade his harbor for you, but I am currently fighting 9 different (undefended) cities to win some marble so I can upgrade my palace.
Well I don't have an active attack force right now; I build one when I need it and disband it when I don't. I'll hit him in a day or two for you though.
Hopefully by then I'll be able to add doctors to the attack force.
Well, no, I don't need marble that badly. But the fact that we're on sulfur islands right next to each other leads me to believe we're meant to be the terror of this region, so I was trying to get some kind of joint operation going on.

I finally got myself some defense (3 swordsman) and I have a trade going for 50 sulfur so I can get up some phalanxes. I can't wait till I can finally expand.

I've saved up almost the 6,000 I need for my palace from pillaging my neighbors, but I need to upgrade my warehouse so I can send it all to my capital then I just need to get the 231248128934 wood and gold needed to upgrade.

Yep. If you want to be around sometime tomorrow I'll can take down the military of some of the locals who a) don't donate to the sawmill/vineyard and b) don't have much in the way of garrison. The guy right above you only has 5 phalanx's, I can send enough archers to break them letting you go in once the defenses are down.
I'm Demiurge ingame, beta server. set up at 49/94. Any PA'ers near me I could gang up with? I'm almost ready to make my first colony and I'm wondering if I should go marble or wine.
You are pretty close to me, i'm at 56:92 (wine) /56:91 (marble) / 57:85 (crystal). The marble isle is reasonably well developed, the wine one lags behind a little. Once Dirgo gets SPAX running, we can join up there and coordinate more, though at this point moving colonies is not really an option anymore.
I think I'll set up shop on a marble island close to me, there's one right next door, then I'll take the wine island as well to prop up my infrastructure. Should I be looking to build an army at this point?
