Oh hey, this Sonic Alkaline fellow (New Found Land @ 24:78) is attacking my new colony. I hope he likes the 60 wood he will inevitably get from the pillage. In a completely unrelated event: I think I shall build an obnoxious ammount of military units...
Has someone claimed the newly empty spot on 24,22? I'd like to put a second colony there to maximize my marble production, but I don't want to be greedy if anyone else is going to be ready to use it soon.
I attacked the town of Zeneith on 25:17... but only got 12 gold, 150 wood, and 79 marble.
I'm investing heavily into my army, so it may be worth my while to stand up and slap one of the big boys on 25:17. Maybe a member of Allianz What What (ITB), just because of the stupid alliance name. Stupid, stupid alliance name.

I'm building up for it (I'm assuming you mean the marble isle?) but you can take that spot if you'd like It'll take me like 12-24 hours till I have enough.
Question: Will materials in the process of being loaded on to a ship be stolen in a pillage? If not then this guy will get a massive 1 marble for his effort.
I know the Crystal island of 89:64 has one spot left.
I call it! Unless someone else can get there sooner :P I was planning on expanding to Crystal- plus I feel like its the only resource that I can manage being 18 hours away from my others.
How bad is corruption in your colonies? I'm sooo close to being able to upgrade my palace and colonize a crystal island, but nowhere fucking close to being able to upgrade all my governor's residences to the same level. I've looked briefly on the guides, but can't seem to find what it negatively affects. Perhaps I am just blind?

Right now it's 1%. Not too big of a deal. Normally (and soon) it's going to be 8% for each colony. Cumulative.

But what does it even do? Like, do my people not work as hard? Do I not earn as much resources/gold? How does it negatively affect you, whether it's 1% or 8%?
I believe it saps gold, science, and resource production by the same amount
It also reduces happiness.

Ahh, it's less resources produced. Lemme go see if it reduces gold as well.
e: Well, can't really tell if it's affecting gold or not... but I do have a mysterious 34 upkeep that i don't know where came from. I currently have 68 colonists in my third colony, corruption is at 1%(16%). 16% is what it should be... or will be in a few weeks when we're facing 100% corruption effects. I'm making 272 gold (by my calculations that's correct.. 68*4=272) and have that mysterious 34 upkeep, so that leaves 238, which is what the money screen shows I'm making. So either corruption doesn't effect gold, or it's displaying incorrectly.
I am showing a -5 on my happiness from corruption right now though. Didn't know corruption effected that.

The upkeep listed for a town in the money report is just the fraction of total upkeep its population warrants; there's no relationship to where the troops actually are.
can anyone trade me 1k marble? have 1k sulfur/wine/crystal available, mix/match up to you. I can do about 2k worth of marble, send message before your ship please.

[strike]If you see an empty spot on 24:22, please take it immediately. When no one did, someone else managed to colonize. I have sent the infiltrator a blockade, a pillage, and a stern letter asking them to abandon it, and offering to pay them 2k wood and 600 marble for their trouble.[/strike]
Huh, so the new colony is actually one of us? Never mind then, and I'll withdraw that assault.

Hey uh, I'm in the south-west region, what's the point if I join PARC? They're literally days away from my northern most colony. I'm currently at 88:56 and 93:62 are we really going to join up with the guys around 20:##?
My capital (Red [email protected]:8) is getting sufficiently big that I'd like some active defense and not just a wall. Anyone in the vicinity got 1k sulfur to trade 1:1 for marble or wine?
To be honest I'm pretty mystified as to why we're merging also. It'll make us even more dependant on one guy having huge embassies, and we're in no position to support each other.

Yes. How about I send you 1k sulfur and you send 1k wine to 46:19

We should rethink our regional alliances, I think. :P

Issy... the ficitonal twin city to Heliotropolis that was filled with immorality and drunkeness... fitting since it's a wine colony.

Where is the next EPA island going to be? I'm getting ready for my third colony and I'd like to get closer to everyone (I'm 18 hours away...).

Guess I'll be upgrading my governor's residences first...
the point boost I got from my fifth colony is already quickly fading....
You need to destroy them all.
