I got a new job which I am not liking so I was starting to look for another one (1month working). Then last week I got contacted from organization about getting my masters in Information System, they will offer me full/half ride depending on school I go to, give me a place of employment which is equivalent pay where I work now(if I meet deadline in few days). Everything is due next week, so have to leave my job asap to get started.(reason is I have interviews, meet the organization all next week. So either miss work get yelled at or quit) Also this is not an application to see if I get it, its a your in just do the paper work.
The Masters Program is in Information systems and will compliment my graphic design(from openings and postings I research) background and one school offers a web programming emphasis in the masters program which is what I am doing at my current job.
My friend who finished her masters in the same field is helping me with connections, and referring me a graphic design position within the organization's employment while I go to grad school. Also gave me networking sites dedicated to this, job posting and forums. Holy shit I can go anywhere with the masters, its 2008 most needed professions
So you are wondering why am I asking because tomorrow I will be resigning. The reason I make this post is I feel I may be making a mistake that my brain does not want to register.
I know graduate school is something I wanted to do but was scared, now being 25, single, debt less I feel this is my second chance (got offered this in 2005 but declined) and I feel this is not going to come around any time soon.
for those who experienced this, how can I weigh the pros and cons?

I haven't experienced this, but from a purely logical perspective it looks like you should go for it.
Stay at job you're not happy at, or go to a new job that pays similarly (therefore, no decline in quality of life, may or may not suck too), free schooling, and ability to earn more or do a bunch of other jobs that require your masters. Although, getting your masters is probably quite alot of work as well, so it depends if you have time to fit in school with work.
But yeah, making the jump sounds great to me, but again, I haven't experienced this before so maybe I'm overlooking something.
Well guess I don't have to think about it since well I got laid off today this morning. I guess I was not performing as expected or something else may be factor they really did not tell me other than my services are no longer needed.
Moments like these I feel there is some divine powers. Now to see if this new opportunity will work out.
