I just tried to register for my Konami and Game ID. I can't really access the registration page on my computer, but it did it smoothly on my PS3. Anyways, I entered all the million different info it wanted, and it says my fucking e-mail address and and Konami ID (which I really, really, really, really, really, 100% doubt) have already been registered. What the fuck? This is my first time trying to register and it tells me my e-mail address is already registered? This makes no sense.

I guess there is a reason they set the download to the 17th, while not letting it be playable until the 21rst - to give them time to work out the issues while it really doesn't matter. If people still have problems after the 21rst, then that will be a problem, but for now, oh well.

I have never had a printed key be wrong or flat out incomplete. I've never had to have three logins for a single game. So sorry that I find Konami incompetent and ill prepared.
How many download packs would I have to buy if I wanted play warhawk, I have bought the game but nothing other than that.

Earlier tonight, the front page was actually loading (I'd been getting error messages right from the get-go before) and I was getting all the way to the name and email details each time before timing out, I figured it was so close I would ave a better chance of getting through. Repeated a few times and got it. I think I could type out my login information with my eyes closed now...
Then Konami sends you and email with a link to validate the whole deal, which you click on and get that fucking time-out message again! (that one only took about 5 minutes to sort out...)

Two konami IDs? Am i missing something?
Konami ID and Game ID. You sign up for them both at the same time (if you ever get that far), but they must be different! And each have their own password, The Konami ID's password must have letters and numbers, but the Game ID's password may not have any alphabetical characters, only numbers. Both IDs must be at least 8 characters (which sucked for me, as Jandaru is only 7).
The Game ID is the one you sign in to MGO with. I guess the Konami ID is for logging on to the Konami ID website.
I like how in Burnout all you had to do to get online was press the Start button.
God this bullshit is so fucking unnecessary. Just let us log on with our PSN accounts, not make some fucked up Konami ID that just serves to prove that their servers cannot handle this.

Step 1:
Open two tabs in Firefox or your web cruiser of choice...
Step 2:
On tab one keep doing the register button until you finally hit the 'enter information' page. Enter in all your information but do not hit register just yet. Position the page to be ready to click next.
Step 3:
In tab two click the register button and go all the way to the 'enter information' page. The moment you get to the page click back to tab one quickly and press the next button.
Step 4:
Confirm.
This little trick makes the system think your IP is going from page to page very fast, so it shouldn't give you the time out error. I tried it twice, and on the second go it worked. If this worked for anyone please write back in, I want to know if what happened to me was a fluke.

So I thought I had a Konami ID, when I got through registry the other day, now it is telling me I don't! EXCELLENT!
So I just tried this trick and after entering all my info it gave me : Parameter error. WTF?
That trick got me through the process. The signup has some weird requirements for some things, too (like that you can't have capital letters in your ID and you have to have only letters in the password for the game ID) Anyway

Edit: Get the Autoformer plugin for Firefox. When you fill everything out just right click in a field and tell it to save all fields. Then it is just a matter of quick scrolling. I did it on my second attempt. None of this two tab bullshit. Some people.

I've never even been able to get past the first page when trying to register on the PC. I just get the "Due to a period of inactivity, the page has been deleted" message. Stupid site.

The headset I use for my PC doesn't work. I need to go find me a PS2 usb one or a cheap bluetooth one tomorrow. Hmm...
If you are sitting within 10 feet of the PS3 or you don't mind adding a USB extension, I highly recommend going with a corded headset. There are some bluetooth headsets that are a real pain in the ass to get working, and even if you luck out with one that isn't, the sound quality is still pretty shit compared to USB.
