Back when such things appealed to me, I found that a moderate amount of the weed improved my FPS game, like Q2, a thousand fold.
But for them there thinking games, like Star Craft, not so much.

Oh man, a 92.5% on a C++ midterm that I thought was going to destroy me. Man this relieves enough stress to almost make up for not having played WoW for a week (oh god I miss it)
Man I could afford another month if public transportation was free and I didn't have to eat. I don't think it's public enough if I have to pay for it, and maybe I can start living off the ketchup and mayo packets in the student center.
Amusing related anecdote: I'm explaining to other officers why our new hunter has been missing, and that no we don't need to recruit another one yet, and the guy who hasn't had a job or gone to a class as long as I've been playing WoW with him (2+ years?) implies that said new hunter should get a job like "everyone else."

Pfft....back in my day we payed for our MMO's by the hour. (DR, GSIII) Or why I got a job at a young age.
I was at work all day, so I'm joining the party a few pages too late:

I believe it's the armor mitigation cap combined with an insane hp pool, and dodge mitigation up the ass. Plus, charging and two taunts.
Really not even the HP pool, mostly the armor and dodge out the fucking wazoo. That, and superior single/small-pull threat generation (usually). HP superiority kind of depends on gearing choices.
But to take an example, one of the (very, very few oh god) warrior tanks in my barely-Archimonde-killing guild has 18k armor, 18k HP, 27% dodge, 28% block, and 19% parry with fort and stamina food. With similar buff levels, I'd have around the same HP (maybe about 1000 more), and no block or parry (natch), but 55% dodge (and GoA gives me like 4-5% MORE dodge) and (here's the fun part) 34k+ armor. With the Shaman/Priest armor-buff-on-heal, I have 42k+, WAY above the armor cap against level 73.
Speaking of all this, on a warrior/paladong's block chance: is that their chance to block ALL damage from an attack, or their chance to block SOME damage?
Say you could have exactly 3 level 70 characters, a tank, healer and DPS+PVP, what would they be?
This is funny, because I have all 3
T: Warrior. I like the rage mechanic for tanking so much more than mana. And plate looks cooler than a bear.
H: Druid. It's like cheating.
DPS: This one is tough, because I love both my mage and paladin. I would most likely choose my mage.
So i had reason to drive past my house today, and it happened that the postman was delivering mail to our letterbox as i drove past. And the first thing that came to my head was "Cool, my auction must have been succe... what the fuck is wrong with me???"

Eh, I think it happens to most of us from time to time.
And being able to heal relatively well by tossing on gear and heal totally awesome with a respec is the bestestly awesome.
There was a guy in Trade asking for tips on how he should spec for healing, he was a 38 Paladin, I decided to comment that he would probably have more fun healing as a Druid or Shaman.
Tank: Paladin, because I like the rabid porcupine approach. However, it's mainly because I play healers almost exclusively, and Paladins are the only healer that can still tank fairly well while not having the majority of points spent in the tanking tree. A non-Feral Druid is going to get stomped because so many of those upper talents are so important. A Paladin can still get by without Holy Shield or Blessing of Sanctuary in most situations.
Healer, PvE: Priest, mostly because of Mind Control and Psychic Scream, but also because of Dispel and Mana Burn and Shackle Undead. Priests generally have so much more to do than any of the other healers, which is nice, because PvE healing is terribly dull and boring to begin with. The only exception is really Magisters's Terrace, where Druids can have just as much to do when you count Feral Charge, Maim, and Cyclone.
Healer, PvP: Shaman, because that's the most challenging to make useful. If you don't anticipate every few seconds how each fight is going to go about five seconds from then so you have time to lay the proper totems, or if you don't Earth Shock and Purge enemies frequently, or if you don't keep Healing Way stacked to 3 on your squishier friends in preparation for the focus fire, or if you don't juggle Earth Shield on and off of whatever targets have some jackass Hunter or felpuppy on them, then you will be less useful than any of the other healing classes would be without trying even half that hard. If you do all of it, and do all of it well, then you can match the others. It's hard as hell, and can be literally impossible if the enemies have the right composition, but I like it.
DPS, PvE: Hunter. Vast control and utility, massive damage, great survivability, plus the duality of being a pet class.
DPS, PvP: The same, for the same reasons.

and in actual fact a Ret or Holy paladin tanking can actually put out more threat than a Protection-specced paladin, although they will be far squishier
I know pallies are often AoE tanks, but can they be reasonably expected to hold aggro on a boss? I tagged along with some guild for a Kara run last night and they kept using a warrior to tank bosses even though the pally was mitigating much much better. Neither pally nor the war had Omen installed, though, so I don't know how their threat generation was comparing.

Generally we're a little bit lower in single target threat generation. Not so much that it's crippling but all things being even we run a little behind. The exception would be undead and demon bosses at which point we can put out some rather insane TPS....if they hit hard enough.

Feral Charge is the one druid-tanking skill I often find myself wishing my paladin had. However being able to taunt from 50,000 yards away usually makes up for it. I don't look forward to tanking Murmur without a charge though.
Also yeah, bear tank is just fun for the insane numbers you get. I remember when 2.0 hit and the warriors in my guild were in tears because my AQ40 feral gear broke the armor mitigation cap and my health and dodge were still hilariously high.

Grats. Now get a fucking game card.
Yes. Poster above me is a broke ass college kid.
In addition to being poor, do you also possess bleached blond hair and a long wooden board with a fin attached to it?

No I think he's the guy who thinks he's better than everyone else in the forum because he's some sort of LP superstar.
Well he's not. But he thinks he is.
Shit, I think I'd probably tell Raocow to cram it if he did the shit Syrg does. Being a hardcore LPer does not make you a better person, FFS.

Funny story, once my paladin hits 70, that's what I'll have. I do sort of want to try a rogue though.
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
Not that that generally matters so much in a raid, but it's a big plus if you play one.
