Ah, 'kay. Thought "since release" meant November '04. Even still, it makes a good trick question. "How many 10-man instances are there?" Two or three or seventeen (all instances below BRD-level will let a raid of 10 enter, even though none of the lower ones are intended for such or have (Raid) quests for them).

That was the beauty if 15-manning it, you could easily spare a couple of slots for offtanks and do it proper.
My guild was almost Gnomeless, so I, being a Gnome Mage at the time, was always the one who had to get punted when we got to The Beast. I protested, griped, and complained, but they wouldn't start the fight unless I was the one who got kicked across the room.
Good times.

So I changed my sig so now everyone can laugh at me and the state of Windrunner
I remember 15 ubrs and the fight over the Dreadmist robe
I got it because both mages had that robe from Scholo and I was still wearing the Golden Bloodrobe one.
I still remember it because years later the mage of the two that is still around makes it a point to discredit me every chance he gets
Ahh, yes, I had nearly forgotten about the days when Dreadmist was basically the best gear for all of the casters, and it was a tooth-and-nail fight just to get your hands on it.

Has anyone heard of Paradosi? or its GM George? I used to be in that guild and that guy is famous for some reason. I think he had a pvp video where he was rampaging through WSG as a MS warrior chopping people down left and right with 3 healers following him around like it was some big feat.
Anyway, Paradosi was the top horde guild on the server, and when progression stagnated, the dude server transferred to be in a guild that was moving faster. The kicker is, he just transferred back to our server with the intention of restarting the guild, and people are actually lining up to follow him again. I don't understand it. He was not a good leader. His officers did most of the raid leading while he didn't know some pretty simple class mechanics. He abandoned his guild to be a member of a better one. And yet he's like a god on my server. probably 90% of the horde have him on their friends list just so they can see when he's on. It boggles my mind. I never was one for idol worship though...
I have a grudge if you can't tell =P
Fuck, George is back? After all the drama and bullshit he caused with his first exit, I was hoping his pompous ass would stay gone.
We didn't have a warlock. We very rarely have a warlock anymore. Kind of like how we have two Shamans, and our only Paladins (also two) are rarely played alts.
<Beasts of Unusual Size> is all Druids. Yiff yiff yiff.
I miss the days before damage meters. When I put my priest on follow right after Gehennas just to rest my eyes and fell asleep at the computer, only to wake up when people were about to loot Garr. Only the guy I was following noticed and I promised to boost his alts for a bit to keep him quiet. Those were the days.

Alliance BG PuGs piss me off more than anything in this entire game. I just got out of an AB game where we started out with the Blacksmith, Gold Mine, and Stables. Okay, fine, we can work with this, I thought.
So after we take the BS, someone calls out "inc bs" and sure enough in plain sight a group of 5 Horde are coming. So naturally, being a Resto Druid, I hit cat form, move back behind the flag, and stealth.
Then everybody (we had about 5 people at BS ourselves) mounts up and runs away, leaving me to defend the flag--which just became ours--all by myself.
In the process, we lose the gold mine (they ran back to the stables instead of defending it).
The entire team then proceeds to fight on the road in between the gold mine and the stables for the rest of the game. Predictably, within a minute or so, the stables have been capped.
Congratulations, guys, you just got 5-capped by a Horde PuG in blues and welfares.

You play on Blackout EU, because it sounds like alliance tatics there.
Luckily, I'm a horde shaman. Last night, joined an AB; despite having a lower population in comparison to the alliance, we've got queues all of a sudden since 2.4.2, meaning we're lucky to start a game full.
It's late at night, so when the gates open, it's 9vs15. Not great. Take the farm, and I decide to sit there with 2 others, in the hope the raid will fill up with people who want to try win, rather than the "let them win so I can get my mark".
Watch horde dots on the map slowly disappear and appear at the spawn GY. Alliance take the LM, GM, and stables, but during this time, nothing goes on at the BS. One hunter goes along and actually caps it. Horde then push to the LM and it's 3:2 to horde, despite only having 9! No ambition from the alliance to cap the BS cost them the game, and needless to say when it got to 15vs15, we 5 based them
Went into a WSG that was a semi premade of alliance. The premade decided to defend I imagine, because the game had been going for a bit as the score was still 0-0. 10 mins later, my resto shaman had walked into the defended flag room and somehow made it out 3 times.
tl:dr, love my troll resto shaman, who is a complete pvp tank sometimes due to the punishment he can take.

This. I've been pvping for so long on my crappy feral druid for tanking gear, that I'd forgotten how much of a blast I have healing AV on my shaman, even when the alliance are mouth-breathing stupid. With my wife on her holy priest in the AV as well, I waded into a group of 7 horde at Frostwolf, dropped the fire elemental, and proceeded to laugh as she and I kept me up with 4 or 5 independent people attacking. Earth shield is fucking king.

It's not TBC, it totally does not.

God that was always fun.
And then he'd resist my FD and I'd get conflagged.

Unless the mage dies on the pull, like one flamestrike or arcane explosion round should surpass a pet.
The mage needs to stop sucking.
Illhoof is the finest aoe boss fight in that instance, there's just no excuse.
Actually it was 40.
/oldschool.
if the warlock is keeping the imps to a minimum, there is no reason why the mage should be forced to AoE in there.
<Beasts of Unusual Size> is all Druids. Yiff yiff yiff.
They'd better have been melee'ing with a staff.
My wife will melee occasionally, but only because she is out of mana.
Wut? What was he doing? Was his only spell Faerie Fire?

Thats excellent
EDIT: Horde side
Invoice I think you have a doppleganger.
my mage used to
but i stopped at level 54 with him, quit for 10+ months then came back and immediately transferred so i dont know what its like on there
although gorgonnash is pretty terrible, doesnt it have like...no one killing Illidan?
This annoys me.

How is saturday not a normal raid day.
Or friday.
What do you want from me.
And the druid with 150 dps was one of the people that my pet beat in damage.
On almost every boss.
Is this a feral druid? Or a moonkin? My white hits are around 250, 300 damage and hit every second. I could auto-attack and do more damage than that.
Haha, my level 40 rogue can do 150 DPS...
1-40 in 16 hours /played so far. WOO!
With or without rested exp?
psn: lankyplonker
I probably do 150 dps while healing in Kara with just Moonfire, Insect Swarm and the occasional Wrath (yay for Hots!).
