I had an unfortunately timed phone call in the middle of a game, on the first cap of the 3rd section of dustbowl as a heavy. I take the call, expecting it to be only for a minute or so, and then I get unexpectedly ubered with only about 30 bullets left.
In taking into consideration rev up time, the heavy's propensity to run out of ammo, and the higher chance to crit while meleeing, fisting while ubered heavy is pretty damn defensible.
I'd say that in certain situations, such as when the enemy is capping point C on gravel pit, its a better idea to run up to the tower with your fists out rather than try to use the minigun.
I'm more dismayed at having to burn ubercharges to get a heavy to punch two people to death.
Why are people complaining about 1 million healing. By the time you get all these other ones done, you will be easily past 1 mill.
Nobody's complaining about that, we were complaining about the 10 million.

You were also complaining about being forced to unlock the weapons and therefore forced to deliberately go out and acheive these acheivements and wondering if perhaps you weren't thinking the wrong way round.

what I hate is that it always seems like my team doesn't know how to defend that first point on phase 3. I love all the sentry guns destroyed in that first uber because the pyro just walks right up to it.

The "stats" version will be a proper heatmap, and will allow you to choose the weapon, attacker position or victim position, and which round/game/day.

Well, let's see here. We've got almost solid red on point C and point B, predictably enough, but it's oddly scattered on point A. That really is the point that time forgot.
Still, there's barely an inch of ground in that place that someone hasn't died on at some point or another.
I have changed the image as a jpg. Unfortunately, due the the extreme detail, it does not compress well, and the PNG, while pretty, was 1.7MB. You still get the gist with the jpg.

Just a quick question jon...will your "stats" package include mean or variance for the various items it displays? Is it possible to get it to do this? I know I'd find it interesting to be able to play with those. Calculating by hand would be...yeah..

This isn't really surprising though Mindread. PA has big enough playerbase and enough games played on jon's server that you'd expect the graph to read like the overall population.
I'd say more but I may lose people in the stats and those who do know what I'm talking about don't need it explained.

Also in well I actually managed to play an acting class practically all the time (pyro) and be near the top of our team's leader board. I was actually getting kills! This made me very happy.

When I uber a heavy while punching, the feeling is next to none. When he manages to get more than 2 kills, MY LIFE IS CHANGED FOREVER.
