So is it worth replaying P3 on Hard to get all Max social links? Or should I just replay the game and then just head into The Answer? I want to get Orpheus Kai unlocked in general, so I was wondering which was the better option. I'm curious to see just how hard P3 can be on Hard mode, but I also want to get through the game, getting every Persona as well as maxing all Social links.

Well, if you want to 100% the Compendium, I suggest not playing The Journey on hard. Because on Hard, all Persona prices are quadrupled. And the Answer is equivalent to Hard mode so you can get a taste for it there.

I'm currently doing a normal difficulty all social links run of the Journey. I was stupid, though, and didn't make backup saves, so I screwed it up and had to restart the game. Learned my lesson very well.

I am very much enjoying the FES additions. And reading the horror stories of those of you who are playing on hard mode.

I beat the Floor 47 bosses in less than one round.

Mazio -> All Out Attack -> Junpei hitting the remaining survivor.

Floor 59 is looking to be a different story. I'm going to grind a few levels before dealing with him - got plenty of time left to do it, too, I learned from the previous month about making sure to climb early.

For fun, I went Vishnu, Shiva and Lucifer, and upped their stats a bit with some Mitamas. From my normal playthrough I can say that if you put one layer of Tarunda and two of Rakunda, then give yourself one layer of all -kaja skills, it might fly with him. If it does not, he wastes a turn, and you do not lose much either way. But make sure you at least Tarunda him once, and Rakukaja yourself once because Root of Evil is a highly unpredictable attack. You would do well to have Null Charm at least.

And, if it is possible, your main should heal everyone. I think Vishnu gets Salvation? This might come in handy.

I got it on my third try when I got home from work. My problem before was that I was unnecessarally switching out demons on the unfortunate misconception that they had any purpose other than to buff me and debuff Lucy. When I should have just been shooting beams out of my goddamn head every turn or so.

Man, I love the final image of the True Demon ending. Freaking badass.

I am playing this for the first time and on hard mode and the boss on floor 36 was ridiculous. I came up with an equally ridiculous strat and beat him, thus allowing me to complete Elizabeth's "open the chest at the top of the tower block" before the deadline this time. Of course the item I got isn't even close to worth all the items I blew killing the boss.

I can't stop playing this game and GTA comes out tomorrow too. Yikes!

Well that blew. Some Power Drive thingies got the jump on me in Tartarus. They focused first round, blew away one character immediately next turn and brought one down to a sliver. Then they inflicted fear.

I hope I saved before doing that; I made a good 70 grand on one level of Tartarus and came back since I felt like I'd used too much MP. Can't recall if I went back up immediately.

Damn that freakin Chariot/Justice tank boss. I take down Justice, Chariot casts Sacerecarm on it. I take down Chariot, Justice casts Sacerecarm. Then a Kill Rush crits me and takes me down. I beat it the second try, but damn, what an annoying move.

Elendil detailed his story on that fight. For the first few times I fought that guy things just weren't going well at all. Getting destroyed by both of them targeting the Main early on. Beat him pretty good just a little while ago. Attack Mirror'ed Myriad Arrows for a solid 400+ damage.

I've tried looking for that particular cutscene on YouTube in order to figure this out. No luck so far; too bad because that scene was downright creepy. If I had to guess I'd say it was "Memento Mori."

On vanilla P3 or FES? On vanilla P3, no there's no room for error. I used it and up to the very final day, you were always seeing someone. There was never a day that said "Do whatever, it doesn't matter." On FES though, I imagine you'd be safe because links level up faster. Or so I've heard.

The armour's resistance to wind overrides the persona's weakness to it.

If that's true all the time, then countering ally weaknesses should be really easy. I'll have to test it out some more when I get home.

Easy? I've always been under the impression that armours which give resists are really rare as compared to those which give you evasion.
