Ah yeah, that makes sense. I've never really been too fond of them, Nocturne has definitely been the best one I've played. Eh, that's true. I'm not ruling out replaying it of course, just unprovokedly (It's a word I swear) saying I don't think I will.
Doing the replay of P3, is there any reason I can't just go it alone for the most part? I mean, walking up the tower is pretty simple, and I'm thinking I may just do that the night before every full-moon event and level up all my social links. I just don't feel like fighting one-shottable enemies until Monad.
Speaking of: what's the quickest way to get a Persona that can actually take a hit so I can level people/search in Monad?
So I'm listening to Nocturne's soundtrack again and it's still amazing. Chiaki's theme is pretty haunting considering you know what happens to her. It's great even in midi.
I love how in SMT games the staff rolls always give me that sense of completion. Nocturne's does great in that respect.
I might be up for another playthrough sooner than I thought. Freedom ending is pretty damn tempting.

Personally, I like the theme of the game for the fact that it's so emotionally varied. It's upbeat, cheerful, determined, gloomy, haunting, fatalistic, and whatever else you want to see in it. I'm humming it almost everyday.
Beat The Journey a bit ago. Level 84 when everything was said and done - I ended up with Horus equipped for half the fight casting Mediarahan and Samarecarm while everyone else did the kicking and the punching.
I've decided I'll save my all S.Links playthrough for another time... The Answer beckons.
...Oh my god. Yoyogi Park + Riberoma = Wave after wave of ridiculously easy enemies that give amazing EXP = 8000 EXP A BATTLE.
I may never continue with the plot again.
Once in the last dungeon, I encountered a fucking ridiculous wave of reinforcements. I ended up with--I shit you not--more than 40k experience.
Yeah, it's excellent, because Yoyogi Park is 100% Fairy enemies, and Fairies tend to have reinforcements anyway, which adds to the Riberoma reinforcements, and the Titanias and Oberons give excellent experience on their own, and are stupidly easy to kill...it's really, really nice.
Also, need an opinion:
Is Avenge worth it on my Red Rider? I'm looking at a skill set of Terrorblade, Wind Cutter, Attack All, Dekaja, Force Boost, Bolt Storm, Dekunda, and something else. I can either go with Avenge or keep trying this fusion until I get Samarecarm (no one in my active team has it)/Mana Refill (Wind Cutter all night long)/Mazanma/Mabufula/Glacial Blast

The Red Rider is made to be a physical powerhouse, so burdening him with spells would be going against his purpose. Mana Refill might come in handy every now and then, but Terrorblade is really where it's at. So Avenge would be fitting in best with his repertoire. Mana Refill would be really useful on the White Rider, though, thanks to that broken-as-fuck Holy Arrow skill.
If you want to fuse a ton of spells onto one of the Fiends, then the Black or Pale Rider would be best. They're pretty unremarkable otherwise, so if you absolutely had to have one of them in your party then beefing him up with powerful magic would be the only thing to make him worthwhile. Pale Rider in particular is resoundingly worthless despite the thirteen degrees of hell he can put you through as a boss fight.
I never used Hell Biker, since he's basically just a Garu-themed Matador (and Andalucia was one-shotting mobs for me until I was in the thirties). The Harlot, on the other hand, excels by virtue of being more or less unkillable, and, along with one other Fiend, the Trumpeter seems to be an example of the game developers going, "Let's see just how overpowered we can make an ally. Let's just make him a really cheap son of a bitch."

That other Fiend being Dante, post-Son's Oath.
I ended up going with Trumpeter for the final spot of my Demi-Fiend/Beelzebub/Metatron team. My only regret was not being able to fit both the Trumpet skills onto him. I went with Holy Melody, since my Demi-Fiend has a marked tendency to piss away HP.
1) I didn't have a Dekaja user, so Hell's Exhaust was a good thing.
2) Attack All.
But yeah, he's not all that great and is definitely the weakest part of my team. I gave him a bunch of buffing spells so he wouldn't sit around in battles waiting for the enemies to buff themselves.

I gave one of his skills the shaft to get both Melodies in. My reasoning being, he's the Trumpeter. He needs those skills.
My final party had Vishnu as the third slot. I don't remember why, but he definitely pulled me through okay.

Well, I'd created him explicitly as an elementalist, so I didn't want to ditch those skills. That left Mediarahan (also a significant reason for his exisiting), Dekunda (ditto), or Victory Cry. I had to make the call.
I'm trying throw up this sweet midi rendition of Yukino's Theme from P2:IS but I haven't got a good way to get midi ---> wav so I can actually mux it to put on Youtube.

Aww fuck. Hopefully I didn't just screw things up. What days does she show up?
She shows up on all the days that the student council doesn't meet, so whatever days those are.
No, my backup save is from the 8th. I THINK I might have talked to her but I don't remember... Ugh... I'll just have to check from here on out, maybe try to shuffle 2 days around later on.

If you're following that guide being just one day behind for Chihiro won't really affect you much as there's at least 2-3 nights you can meet her on the Koromaru walks if you decide to not go to Tartarus that night.
Woo, my Mizuchi evolved into a Long and then I fused some other demons to get a Hell Biker. Sweet.

I just came to a startling realization. Even playing through the Journey and now the Answer, I have barely touched upon the new Personas that were added. I'm still seeing new fusions in the Velvet Room, and I believe I ended my Journey run at only 78% compendium completion.

When I do my next playthrough, I'm going to try and finish up my compendium. I was worried about money, but I actually ended up with max money for a while in January. I didn't keep messing around with fusions though just because I got bored and wanted to get to the final battle.

If you can get your Alice or Daisoujou or whatever with Die for me!/Samsara + their boosts that should be the most efficient.
Damn you I don't even know who Chiaki is yet!

A Persona webgame of some sort? It wouldn't let me register for it.
The assistance of someone skilled in moon-speak would be much appreciated.
Yeah, I noticed that too, but the music is P3's. Maybe it's a dungeon crawl thing.
Also, finally watching more of Trinity Soul.
The story is confusing, but I really like the show's atmosphere.
I may never continue with the plot again.

I'm thinking I'll be rocking out with a Daisoujou, Red Rider, Harlot/Trumpeter party for a while (once I get them. I'm using Hell Biker right now)

Besides, don't you need to resummon revived demons in Nocturne? I think I'd sooner either end the battle ASAP, or figure out a better way to not die.

Here's a sneak preview then. I don't think it spoils anything really but the bg pic is one of the scenes with her.

Yeah, but think of how much that would cost. The higher the persona, the more expensive it is.

If I remember right, this is the fourth(consecutive).
I'm willing to let this one reach the moon unless there's outside complaint, because I'm out of revision ideas.
Aigis was the one to land the killing blow...
I sure hope so.
