The Answer, Door 4, first boss trio. All the other bosses I've been able to handle with a minimum of difficulty after finding out what kind of attacks they have and assembling a party that works best against it. But this group is different.
It's the fire, the electric, and the ice bosses. I've got Junpei, Akihiko and Mitsuru with me, but even with knocking down the fire and the ice ones almost all the time (unless they dodge - which they are known to do) so that only the electric dude is up usually... the electric dude still somehow manages to wreck my shit. Tips for making this battle go quicker?

Oh, a general rule for The Answer: Even if a boss has a weakness, your AI buddies aren't going to exploit the weakness often unless you have analyzed the boss. Yes, I know, you can't see the details, but it seems to flip a magic switch in their head that tells them "Hey I can cast a spell to knock them over".

So apparently the best P3 FAQ on Gamefaqs was updated to be a P3FES FAQ but they never put it on the other page.

    Woo.

I now have an Alp (the little l6 half naked lovers persona) with the anti-poison spell that it needs and native resist garu.

So instead of 280 damage, I'm taking 168 damage a hit from the Garu spells. That means instead of dying in one hit, I am left with 7 HP.

    Jesus. Any thoughts?

Alf was what I used to take that boss down, its sukunda, healing and resist made it great for that battle. Get some Wind Charms or HP up accessories for you and the rest of the team. The revolution plan is good too if you have that skill.

No, Eternal Rest. I had to look up that it instantly killed sleeping targets.

But seriously, if you have something that voids death spells, then it should void death spells, no exceptions. i just...I just can't tell you how I much I hate repeating things like this. I lost a good half hour. Fuck.

I'm finding out that life drain (steals hp/mp) appears to go through anything. The eternal rest will kill anyone if you can put them to sleep as you found out.

I think that combo with the fear + kill those in fear in P3:FES also hits anyone, as long as you can fear them.

Drain skills are usually almighty (I think DDS might be an exception--at least for MP Drain). I'm not sure about the status insta-kills, but presumably they're tied to that attribute--nerve or mind or whatever the hell sleep is in Nocturne.

It's pretty moot though, since obviously you'll need to be afflicted by the status to begin with.

I looked it up, it's a Death spell. Well, unless that person was wrong about it... But yeah, I just did null mind and got through it like that no problems. It's mainly that being oneish shotted by a random enemy forcing me to replay about a half hour really irks me like no other.

Well, had to use Armageddon on the final battle. Shame. Sorrow.

It really can mess you the fuck up even if you're in the nineties. All three of my party members got themselves murdered thanks to its barrier attack, and when it finally used Night Queen, a Charmed Akihiko decided it would be a grand idea to throw a Diarahan its way.

So it ate hot Almighty atomization. Motherfucker.

    8/17 Monday, Dark Hour.

Seeing enemies who have the skills of Hama or Mudo instill so much fear in me. Especially since I don't have Persona that utilize those skills themselves. I think I should be using Koromaru for a while. I think my levels have finally fallen to what they should be expected to be, rather than being overlevelled.

So I messed up and did not get the first Justice Flag, so instead of Justice 1 on 5/28, I'll be getting Flag 3. Of course, this screws EVERYTHING on up, since you're supposed to finish Justice before any of the other girls to avoid reverses, and the first Free Day is in December.

So here is my plan for fixing it. If there's a better way to do it, could someone please let me know? Like, if there are ways to get more points at night with Koro-walks to avoid having to Spend Time with her, or if there's an easier bump I'm not seeing.

Anyway, my way of fixing it:

    * On 5/28, I'll get my 3rd Justice Flag done. All other Justice dates are 1 rank behind now because of this.
    * On 6/30, instead of getting Justice 10, I will get Justice 9.
    * On 7/02, instead of getting Magician 6, I will get Justice 10.
    * On 9/15, Instead of getting Magician 9, I will get Magician 8
    * On 9/24, Instead of getting Magician 10, I will get Magician 10
    * On 12/03, the first Free Day, I will get Magician 10. He will not go reverse until 12/24, so I should be fine.

I am worried that this seeming typo in the FAQ means that I am guessing the wrong free Day:

Ugh, this means I'm gonna have to grind up my Persona's levels, doesn't it? I hope an Alp at level 10 or 15 or so isn't too hard to get...

    Yeah, 12.03 isn't a free day. Goddamnit.

    What ARE the Free days then? 1/11, 17, 24, 25, 30 and 31 only?

I knew I should have visited Hierophant instead of seeing the movies (I have max stats due to importing from P3).

Ok, I can't skip much past 6.30 to finish it because the FAQ starts sending you off on dates with Priestess and Strength more often then. So, maybe bump Magician, then bump Hierophant to do Magician?

Ugh. Maybe if I give her a book cover, I can skip a Spend Time day? Specifically, if I give her a Book Cover on 6.21, will I need to Spend Time on 6.25, or will that net me the next level of Justice early?

Y'know, I'm in the middle of summer vacation (8/20), and I've got Yuko and Chihiro each at S.Link level 3 and I'm not even qualified for the other ladies yet. I get the feeling I'm gonna be in a bit of trouble getting towards the end of the game... though with none of my S.Links farther than seven and most below five, I think I'll have enough variety to get around it for a while. If I get more advanced with one of the girls, I suppose it would be to my benefit to try and breeze through their sequence as quickly as possible? What I'm trying to say here, what are the dynamics of reversals, especially as they pertain to the ladies' S.Links.

Any S. Link you're not dating gives you 60 days before they reverse. School links will freeze for summer break though and all girls are considered school links.

When you start dating a girl, this shortens to 45 days. Furthermore, seeing another girl in the dating stage counts as 15 days passing. So if you see a girl two times without seeing another girl you date, you're down to 15 days from that alone, in addition to the actual days that passed since you last saw the second girl. Three in a row means you'll automatically go low enough to reverse.

Different girls require different levels before they enter the dating stage. Yuko takes a while, like rank 8 before things get more intimate. Chihiro is more clingy and does so at rank 4 for a grand total of 5 ranks where you have to avoid being caught as a man-whore.
