Using a Computer Monitor for Consoles

I have a PS2 with VGA cables, and now, a 15 inch computer monitor with a generic blue headed cable.

Can I connect these two? Do people here do something similar to that?

You need a VGA cable for your PS2, not sure if they make one but that is how I had my 360 set up.

    sorry for my bad spelling

the ps2 and ps3 do not have vga out put

so you need a converter box of some sort. to be fair they are not very good

they userly just add soem lines of reslution and you loose quaily. most produse a fuzzy image or a very dark one.

also depending on your moniter the vga box may bot out put to a resoltion it can do, partiulaly if its a flat screen

also there is some that do high def rez's

and because they are userly made cheaply they dont have very good power supplys. and come with foren plugs

    i have http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-11z-77-1-49-en-15-vga+box-70-1d2s.html

for my ps3, it works well. but it is only red green and blue in and not yellow.

this has yellow but i dont own it http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-86-77-2-49-en-15-vga+box-70-2707.html
