Vin Diesel for PAX?

I feel it makes sense to try out more than one name, so what does the forumites think of Vin Diesel? He has a history of gaming (D&D) and making games (he basically directed Escape from Butcher Bay). I hear he's a pretty cool guy as well, it's just very iffy as to if we'd get him or not. Buy why not try?

So, up or down guys/gals?

P.S. A benefit to Vin is he has exceedingly more pull with the female crowd than normal "geek" speakers.

    I don't follow this logic. What would he do at PAX? Give a speech? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's a great guy but I probably wouldn't stand there and listen to a speech of his.

    I rest MY case. He has the awesome. I think you're just afraid you'll lose all the ladies to him. It's looking a lot more like Wil Wheaton was only ok because he wasn't the best looking guy (above average, but no Vin Diesel).

    Comon, just because he doesn't make daily diatribes to the internet about how awesome gaming is doesn't mean he can't talk about it. Wil Wheaton isn't the first guy, or even last, when I think about prominent gaming figures. If you guys really want one, get Miyamoto, I'll go head long with that one.

    This is just... no.

    Vin Diesel has less to do with anything good than a shotgun blast to the head. He has even less to do with gaming or PAX.

    edit: maybe we just need a "pitch your favorite keynote speaker" thread
