I apologize in advance if it's unsat to post a bunch of links.
I need help on shading and/or tone variation. My biggest trouble is deep shades, whenever I try to blend the darker colors wash out, so the colors look flat. I should probably do more studies with inanimate objects before I attempt skin and drawing people. I'm also using the standard Photoshop CS3 brushes since I don't understand texture brushes or how to properly use Painter.
I'm trying a new method (for me at least) of setting the opacity to pen pressure as opposed to manually adjusting opacity and flow.
NotACrook: I'm currently in the middle east with the Army, but I was in either King George when I was working in DC, or I was in Richmond going to school.
