I have been having problems when trying to install Football Manager 2008.
Putting the disc into the disc drive causes it to whirr and flash furiously for several minutes, before falling silent with the light staying on. My laptop won't recognise the disc as being there at all.
However the disc works perfectly in a laptop of a lower spec to mine, and any other disc works perfectly in my laptop, leaving me to conclude that it isn't a fault with the drive or the disc.
Any ideas on what the problem might be? Has anyone else experienced this?
