I'm back home early. yesterday I was admitted to the Rapid City hospital with an extremely accelerated heartbeat. Blood tests/etc showed nothing, but they managed to slow it down.
It was starting to pick up again so we left for Omaha. Doctors couldn't figure out anything else, and it seems to have cleared up once i got back, but i still feel a bit nauseous, so I'm still not 'back'.
But I thought I'd just tell you guys that I can read your posts again.
also it's kind of weird waking up the next day and you still have the EKG leads on you.

I have to go to an appointment at the cardio guy later today. All my numbers are bad and it doesn't help that most of my uncles had heart problems before 30, so they're trying to prevent me from having one.
Either way, I think I will be staying off Halo for a bit until I think I can handle the stress.

Fyre, you are not missing anything anyhow. Night of the living dead is the double EXP weekend. They have the shitty house with the turrets in it. Last match I played, people were spawn camping and being complete dicks.
Bungie still fails at Double EXP weekends. I swear if I meet any of the matchmaking list people in real life, I will tell them they suck at their job.

Hearing this makes my day. Bungie really doesn't know WTF they are doing with halo in my (not) humble opinion.

Its the implementation of their stuff. grifball double exp? fine. Leaving a broken version? not fine. Living dead exp weekend? fine. Leaving the top of the roof open and turrets in? not fine. The might as well make us invisible if they are going to snipe us with their handguns.
Who ever is doing matchmaking doesn't play at all. It shows because they still have broken spawns and still have fairly large game breaking issues.

lol @ the return of Head to Head. Maybe he finally got tired of a bajillion people requesting it.
I did notice the addition of objectives to SWAT, though, and the reduction of BR starts in Team Slayer.
Also of note from the update is that Ranked Big Team will be worth DoubleEXP all month long, and if it doesn't perform well they're more than likely going to kill it in July.
Also yay for DLC Slayer and Objective getting Heroic re-integrated.

Before I went on holiday, Smuggler was a fun foray into rat-in-a-cage levels of carnage. Around each corner, atop each walkway, or camping the top ledge of a middle room was a Shishka, a Sketch, a Frankie or some other unnamable, jarring horror. Upon returning, Smuggler has become a picture perfect nearly majestic play space with sinister undertones. Pristine construction is foiled by a staunch reminder of how often the best laid plans can fail.
So the next map pack is Moonbase Alpha, Purple Reign, and Smuggler?
From the description, all three of their maps seem to be very interesting, and even more awesome is that they're space themed.

Hey for the record, nambkab isn't dead in a ditch somewhere. His 360 just DOES NOT want to play halo 3 for some fucking stupid reason. He tells me he can't replace the optical drive because he thinks it will get banned.
The 360 is such a clusterfuck as far as reliability goes. He does want play but time isn't allowing also. Just piping in what I know of his current situation.

Where can I find the beautiful out of the map shots you've taken? I need a wallpaper.
Because i keep posting before i finish reading, they also answered some questions:
- Armor DLC has been investigated and they have decided it's not going to happen
- someone asked if they could add the X to save film feature from the beta, Bungie says it can't be done ( well great work there)
- clans are never happening unless MS does them
- Legendary is "still not going to go free, ever" as of this update.
These are two of the reasons why Bungie fails so hardcore. How could they not see that the armor perms would be a giant hit and they might want to add some at a future date and the clans was a great idea. If anything let us add a tag or something like CoD4.
Yeah, they've said it several times now. I still think that eventually they'll make it free. Then they'll act like they are the greatest company in the world for giving it to people for free.
So on the brighter side of things one of the guys at worked showed me how to hook a harddrive up to my xbox...took bout an hour but now I've got a 250gb drive and was able to transfer all my data over myself woot

Weird and awesome. You have to realize this was the same guy who didn't want people to get blood on his carpets in that house in foundry forge map.
Also, they need to make that a weekend double exp thing. 1bomb on foundry with that house.
