So here I am at work. In approximately 2 1/2 hours it will be lunch time, which is when I am going to pick up my copy of GTA IV. I then will have to suffer through another 3 1/2 hours of work before I can head home and actually play, during which the game will be sitting on my office desk, taunting me.
But I have taken tomorrow off work to play, and my wife understands that she will not have my attention tonight or tomorrow.
The wait isn't long now... but is physically painful.
Those of you on the PA GTA IV list, send a friend request.. I'll add you so that I can get in on some multi-player action until some spots open up and I can get on.

I just grabbed a taxi back to my safehouse(which cost me 89 dollars, christ).
As I stepped out of the taxi, a mini van hit it from that side, clamping me in for a moment.
The cabby got out and was saying something in anger. there was no room for him once the animation for him leaving the cab ended, so we both got glithcy for a second. Then we both popped over to the other side of the mini-van.
He then punched me in the face yelling "I have no short term memory!"

Bought'd. I scurried in with the rest of the 18-35 year old males, grabbed my fake plastic box that said GTA IV - XBOX 360 and traded it in for a real version at the counter. And I drove back like a fiend. Now I wait...and wait...and wait. Probably about 10 hours. No sweat.

I seem to be infected with a sickness. Now that I have GTA IV in my hand, I'm beset by a strange sensation I can only describe as 'patience'. Blockbuster opened at 10AM today, and I was there to pick up my preordered copy. GTA IV GET! I was hungry, so I went to Subway before heading home.
I sat down and watched some comedy network, and ate my sandwich. Then I went up to my room and patiently took down the maps of San Andreas and the town of Bulworth - sorry old friends, there's a new open world dog in town. I went and took out my contact lenses.
I noticed I had missed The Colbert Report last night (crashed early to get up early), and it's on in half an hour. I think I'll watch it, and get to GTA later. Freakish, freakish behavior I have never exhibited. Maybe I'm subconsciously trying to stretch the happy-happy place between buying a game and playing it.

Oh, and I gotta' say, I'm always extra-glad to be Canadian whenever I get a Rockstar game. Y'know the maps that come in GTA and Bully? Well up here in Canada we get two, every time. One's english and one's french, so I have a street map and subway map up on my wall now, for quick and easy access. Oh, Canada!

Okay, guys, seriously...what the FUCK.
I've been trying for like...weeks...to register with the Social Club, and every fucking time I try, I get this bullshit about "not all required fields were filled in and/or your email address is already in use". The problem is, all required fields were filled in, and my email address is not already in use.

When I was watching the live feeds and I saw the game auto-save after the guy completed a mission, I was so freaking excited. I mean, GTA IV has so many great new features, but I cannot express how incredibly awesome having the game actually fucking save after the completion of a big mission is, thus preventing me from fucking it up and having to do the whole thing over again for some reason.
Or, as Bully has taught me, having the game freeze after just completing a big mission so I have to do the whole thing again. Fuck! This is why I've finally just quit playing that goddamn game.
