Also, I was in the middle of a freeplay game. I'd gone to the airport, grabbed myself a helicopter.. flew to the statue of freedom (I think that's the name for the Statue of Libery in GTA 4) and was just lining up to jump out to view the heart thing when I got disconnected. Figures.

I've got a spare copy of Portal, if anyone wants it message me.
The one where you need to go to the strip club kill those 3 guys. I can kill the first one okay, but the other two are surrounded by body guards.
I'm still annoyed with how GTA handles retrying missions, where you have to spawn all the way back from where you received your mission instead of just where you're suppose to be. I've tried that mission about 10 times and lost about $20,000 from the medical fees and the cab rides back to the area.
This mission took me a few trys too.
I was being sneaky the first few times. I would go into the first room and beat the guy to death, so everyone in the club wouldn't pull a gun on me. But no matter what I did after that, I would be killed before I could kill the next two.
What worked for me was just capping the first dude, using his doorway as cover as I took out the rest of the guys in the club. You should of killed the second guy somewhere in that shoot out. The third guy ran out the back door and should be in a car as soon as you leave the club. If you have an automatic, you should be able to kill him before he drives away.

What I did what took out the first guy in the security room, then I stood back near entrance and sniped the second guy so I could get ready to leave the place when the third guy escaped.

I'm supposed to meet this lawyer at the firm building for an interview. It gives me an appointment time on my organizer but I haven't seen a destination anywhere on the map or mini-map... Any help? Or is it a bug?
I want a new girlfriend. I keep trying to use the dating website but they keep telling me, "oh look you're bad but don't worry there's someone out there for you!"

Some cokehead teen gave me a hundred dollars when I walked past him on a street corner.
That was in GTA IV.
I wonder if that's the part I missed.
Early in the game I was on my way to get a Roman mission when I saw on my mini-map an icon of a person. I stopped, walked up to the person (Looked like some teenager) it went into a cutscene. I could see people were talking but I heard no dialog. It was completely quiet. So, not wanting to miss any dialog, I panicked and turned off the game. Since restarting I haven't been able to find that kid to find out what that was about.
Supposedly you're supposed to be able to get mission from random pedestrians, but I haven't seen that or heard anyone actually reporting it.
I noticed the blue man icon near Roman's shop early on, but was on my way for an urgent mission and ended up missing it. Didn't think much about it until I read about you lot getting free moneys from some dope fiend. I haven't seen that one since, though I did run across another yesterday...
It turned out to be Badman, the Rastafarian whose speech is damn near impervious sans subtitles. The core of the conversation came down to this:
Badman: "Gonna kill some Russians."
Nico: "Fine, lets go kill some Russians."
After which the two of us drove a short distance to find about seven Russians in an alleyway, whom we commenced killing thereupon. I've thus far insisted on leaving subtitles off as it heightens my own amusement, but the pre and post conversations for this secret mission with Badman made me wish I had any fucking clue why I was murdering Russkies.

Subtitles don't help with Badman. The guy makes basically no sense.
Regarding the Badman mission
The funniest thing to me about that was that they said it in the opposite order you just mentioned; Badman complains, Nico's like "Let's go kill some Russians" and Badman says "Hey, we should kill Russians!"
I realized Badman has just about the same comprehension of Nico's dialogue as we do of his.
Also, the mission was basically he was being bothered by some drug pushers and the fish comment had to do with if they'd kept their mouths shut and not backtalked and left him alone he wouldn't have to go kill them all.
Anyways, Badman's not really that hard to understand if you just remember he talks very circularly. Or maybe I just think at weird angles and this is the one time in my life where it will come in handy.

This was the main reason I got the 360 version over PS3 ... I kinda figured that online matchmaking would be a nightmare without being able to send messages inside the game.

I got the 2-hour notice and the 30-minute notice, but no location or destination appeared on my map.
Also, not sure if you guys have mentioned this yet, when playing multiplayer matches you can use your cell phone to call players on the other team!
This puts you into a different VOIP channel, and when you hang up you go back to your team's channel.
I was thinking about it ... can you imagine some of the player made gametypes you could do up in Free Mode? One traitor per team, who can communicate with the enemy. Very cool.

missions, he wanted help getting rid of his debts and told me his life story. After the mission I was 500 bucks richer!

Have you tried going in a cab an cycling through the locations you can go to?
Played a 50 minute Deathmatch game (to $5000 dollars, which takes FOREVER).
After I made it to second, I made the huge trek to the abandoned side of the city, and nabbed the helicopter.
I then flew to the closest person and was promptly shot down by what had to be the LUCKIEST RPG shot ever.
Mother fucker.
This is the first GTA where I actually don't try to wreak havoc on the general populace. The only law I break all the time is speeding (of course). Killing random people or drawing too much attention to myself just seems to not fit in the context of the game (lol what?).
I don't know if this has been answered yet, but I saw it mentioned that people had 100% with a NPCs like Michelle or Roman. I'm wondering how you can tell where you're standing is with these people. I do see the little thumbs-up icon after talking with them, but no numbers.
I drive super reckless and just hit people, but yeah aside from that and car stealing it's pretty tame.
I just want to progress more so I can get better weapons, this Uzi ain't cutting it.
i run over all kinds of peds when im trying to get somewhere, but i havent really laid into many random rampages yet. those only really get fun once you have a nice arsenal put together, which i havent assembled yet in the single player.

Some people on the Social Club show up as having 100% completion in less than an hour. One guy apparently completed the story in zero minutes. I wonder how long until Rockstar boots those jokers.
Speaking of which, the whole "100% in 7 days" contest is cool, but there's no way I want to hit 100% that soon. I'm enjoying this experience so much I want it drawn out over MONTHS.
