Well I got that much from the name of the image, what context?
he realizes he is in a comic book and can see the reader. so he says "i can see you"
That's awesome.
Everyone here should read it. The big climactic story of Animal Man is when
AM, a happy-go-lucky 60's character who's just had one horrible thing after another happen to him, finally gets to confront the man responsible for his torment - Grant Morrison.
You didn't say that at all
Just that was a terrible scan, and you loved the moment
I'm pretty sure that's from the Kevin Smith Spidey/Black Cat story. Can't remember the name, seeing as it got delayed everyone just lost interest in it.

"Evil that Men Do"
It was basically about incestuous brothers with powers. It was pretty shitty, but it had Nightcrawler (and heroin)!

Oh, Machine Man, why do you bring the funny so consistently?
As for that panel in Ms. Marvel, you can sorta see it coming:
And did someone ask for some Deadpool?!

I haven't been keeping up with comics too much. Could someone explain what's going on with Cyclops in Wildcat's post?
That's from Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-men:
Basically the X-men travel to this planet, Cyclops "lost" his powers for a while and then lets himself get captured. The bad guys torture him for a while and then he smirks and lets loose an awesome optic blast. (Wildcat's post). You really should read Astonishing since it ends next month.
A panel I don't have on hand but love is from Morrison's first JLA arc, "New World Order". It's where the Hyperclan are searching the base for Batman, and they just find one of their own tied up with a note: "I know your secret"

The mystical force of the Darkness explained by Sonatine, one of the only villains in recorded memory who wasn't just evil, but also a consistent dick:
I'm still amazed by the fact that they managed to give so many characters new costumes and names, and not one of them sucked. I mean, usually reinventions fail pretty hard, especially in the '90s.

I'm still amazed that Citizen V is actually Baron Zemo! My inner 8 year old still thinks that kicks ass!

Why is he telepathic, though?
I've gone back and forth, and mostly given up on comics now. I missed Astonishing when it first came out and never had a chance to catch up before I was back out of comics.

Emma Frost connects them together with telepathic communication.

What the fuck is going on in that first panel? Is Ironman an octopus or something? I've stared at that picture for a good 10 minutes now and I still don't get how it's possible.

I was kind of wondering that myself. Here's the previous page, though it doesn't seem to make it any clearer:

Seeing the previous page makes it a little easier to figure out.
Tony's head is hidden behind their left arms, Tony's right arm's hidden behind the tangle of bodies, and Tony's left leg is foreshortened. There were probably better ways to lay that scene out.

It's still a bit odd, because he's essentially reaching behind not only his back but the Mandarin's, with what seems to be little to no leverage at all.

I'm sure there's two, specifically one for sentimental purposes and one detailing weak points and effective means of neutralization.

I love, it sums up everything wrong with X-Men comics over the last 10 years.

I liked the story until it was delayed for a year and went on a trip to Rapey Rapeville.
With a stop at the rape diner for some eggs and rape.
Man, I wish I had my Deadpool comics with me, as I'm tired of those two scans always popping up. Gail's run had tons of great moments.
i didn't know you agreed with me about nextwave
I didn't know you hated everything that was good and right...
Wait, yes I did.

Yeah, but only off-screen in that space between BTAS and Batman Beyond.
Also, Batman Beyond has the best opening for an animated program, ever.
