said the powers would only be temporarily drained. So now, he's in the Prime universe (which is Ours but not ours), he's killed Lori in some horrific manner, but for some reason is still in 'hiding' there instead of just conquering his world.

Has anybody but Johns used him since his return? I figure he's just in his stable of pet characters for the time being and will be brought back whenever he needs an already established villain.
I like Superboy Prime. I like there being a villain who is just like a child throwing a ultra-powerful temper tantrum. It was so easy to vacillate between feeling bad for him and for hating him.
And yeah, I think Johns is the only one to touch him since Infinite Crisis.

following on from crimsondudes hellblazer scan, my own favourite bit from dangerous habits; constantine getting one over on the first of the fallen and setting himself up for a rather nasty vendetta...
For the people who don't know what's going on there
John goes to visit a friend. Said friend sold his soul to the devil for the world's best booze collection, essentially. Tonight's the night the First will be coming to collect, too, but he has to take it by midnight or the deal's off and the friend gets into heaven
Underneath the house is a pool of water. Holy water, specifically. Seems St Patrick blessed this pool. Anyway, a little magic and poof that water turns into the best stout in the world.
The friend dies, the First comes calling, John gives him a glass of stout...and then snuffs the candle that keeps the spell working. Devil just drank holy water. Whoooooops!
And that my friends is how John Constantine ended up owing his soul to the First of the Fallen
I hate how the First of the Fallen bullshit encroaches on the territory of Lucifer and his fantastic comic by Mike Carey. There cannot be two kings of hell.
It's actually explained as, Lucifer would be in charge, but right now he's off strutting his stuff, so the three most powerful beings in hell that aren't him are in charge until he gets back
Makes sense seeing as Sandman, Lucifer, and Hellblazer all take place in the same universe and it ties all the ends up very neatly

Didn't you read Sandman?
Hell is a triumvirate.
...because Lucifer left
The idea is, the three of them were there before Lucifer, but when he got there he was stronger than any of them so he took over
When he left to wander the world, they took over again
These things all go together because they all happen in the same world
Mike Carey's novel series, starting with The Devil You Know, is really good, too and fits with his Lucifer and comic works. I'd recommend it if you like the Lucifer comic.

In Preludes & Nocturnes, power over Hell is shared between Beelzebub, Azazel, and Lucifer. Lucifer didn't leave until Season of Mists.

I'm pretty sure this was addressed at some point with Lucifer agreeing to the triumvirate because he didn't want to have to go through all the bloody tedious backstabbing, plotting and rebellion crap all over again.

Vertigo titles have never gave much of a shit about having a shared continuity between titles and you are a bad person for complaining about it
Or do you think martian manhunter and the rest of the jla are in the background world of Lucifer since he was in the early issues of Sandman

Actually the Luficfer/Fallen/Hellblazer thing is the one nod to continuity if we're being honest here
Can I post the entire arc of Deadpool where he's fighting Bullseye in this thread?
Posting more than whatever you can find on preview sites is probably a bad idea. You don't want this place to get shut down like scans_daily, do you?
Theres only one scene from it anyway that has to be posted. Where the missle goes in one window and out the other and even Bullseye admits that it was pretty *$#&ing cool.
I wasn't following reign of Superman closely, all I knew about the cyborg superman was from the first issue he appeared in. As soon as I saw that I went from to in two seconds flat.

y-you guys remember Countdown, don't you???
I think most of us have tried to forget it.
If you read the credits, Johns did the dialogue and was consulted for all Prime appearances.
oh wow

Durrr
He aged with the massive influx of Oan energy (after the sinestro corps war) but he expelled all of it during countdown, so he's a teenager again.

Guess Ennis ignored that part when he made up the new ruling body
(Also my face is red, I didn't know this because I haven't read Sandman [don't look at me that way it's not FOR me])

Sends shivers up my spine every time.

Wolverine being crucified on a giant 'X', circa Uncanny X-Men #251.
X-Men Unlimited (Vol 1) #3 - Sabertooth back when he was really scary, taunting Maverick.
I think I have these scans somewhere I try and find them.

Right behind you.
I had that one.

Guys, prime's dialogue in countdown was Freaking awesome
"I'll kill you! I'LL KILL YOU TO DEATH!"
