You should have said "He likes the big girls."

"That's Amanda Waller and she's really fat, but in the comics she looks like a dude and Lex Luthor kissed her isn't that gross?"

Edit: oh man, they have Over the Edge

They're so much better than Jordyn

Edit 2: And good sound quality!

    But a fat voice

    also maybe jewish
At least Jordyn's commentaries make us feel like there's a girl in our rooms (finally).

And wow, this guy never references anything going on on screen. He does have some interesting things to say, though, especially the point about "Over the Edge" foreshadowing the Batgirl/Batman relationship.

But maybe he's taking this all too seriously.

man it took me like 15 minutes to get a good capture

(mainly because VLC wouldn't play the DVD, and I tried capturing in WMP and shit before I tried putting the DVD in the other drive and VLC worked)

Our sound quality is kinda shit still because we have to share one mic rather awkwardly.

Also, I bet ours is funnier.

    Fuck insightful.

If I did a podcast about these things, I'd probably just talk about which bits in the episode reference what different characters, places and objects created by Jack Kirby or something similar.

I'd spend an entire episode wondering out loud about what happens under the mask when the Question sneezes, and if a guy like Atom Smasher has any trouble passing for an average citizen in his home life as a 7 foot tall, musclebound Starbucks barista or whatever he does to pay his bills.

I can barely remember any old Penguin episodes beyond the one where kids keep Batman in their basement (I hate the precocious kid cliche) and the one where Batman goes blind. I think I liked Birds of a Feather, but I only recall it vaguely.

And Jordyn should make her own superteam, JL or otherwise.

I just remember wondering how that kid felt about Batman after he banged the boy's mom.

If someone's got to do it, though, then he should at least be happy that it was done by the best.

Are you kidding? That would be the coolest thing ever. I wish my mom would would have slept with Batman when I was kid... but no! She had to settle for auditioning all the knock-offs to be my new daddy. Have you ever tried playing Scrabble with Moon Knight? It's not as much fun as you'd imagine. Khonshu just happens to have seven letters, and he never lets you forget it...

And this guy's commentaries, while informative (and I'm sure I could get this information from the actual commentaries, if I had the DVDs) are plodding, at times inarticulate, and generally devoid of fun. It's a lot like being lectured on JLU, actually, and that's not really the best way to approach a cartoon based on comic books.

I told her I didn't really like it but they could get me Batman Beyond Volume 2 instead
