Jordyn, I was at my friend's house last night and someone put on WWE and one of the wrestlers looked like Brad Garrett so I said, "That guy looks like Brad Garrett. Brad Garrett voiced Lobo in Justice League."

And then someone put on Final Destination 3 and it said "Music by Shirley Walker" and I said, "Shirley Walker did the music for Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond and Justice League"

Shirley didn't actually do the music on Justice League, it was entirely Lolita, Micheal, and Kristopher by then.

However, before she passed away she was doing the music on New Frontier. I imagine one of those three is likely to take over.

So it sucks that the boards went down over Valentine's, and a lot of you folk didn't get to see the new JL cards I made.

    Post them anyway.

Speaking of Valentines cards, I should find a shot of She-Hulks butt outside of my sig and add "I can't take my eyes off of you".

Or someone else can and take the credit. I don't care.

    Yes, post them anyway.

And MM. just have someone superimpose a heart over She Hulks ass for you. I would try it myself, but I don't have photoshop.

Eisner Award-winning Darwyn Cooke was full of jokes as he talked with fans. Right now, he’s still exclusive to DC, and writing and drawing The Spirit on a monthly basis is pretty much taking up all his time. So, while he won’t be doing a lot of other work, Darwyn pointed out that this book will never be late – the book will come out every month the way it’s supposed to. “Maybe some of my fellow creators might want to take note of that strategy,” he joked with a wink. “But I love them all!” When asked about the New Frontier animated movie being made, Darwyn asked, “They’re making a movie?!?!” After the laughter faded, he admitted he has been a big part of the production and has been working very hard on it. He said the animation looks “really spanking” and that no one will be upset with the work, as the story really comes through well. “I was stunned at what I saw,” Darwyn said. While he couldn’t go into any more specifics, he did say that Warner Bros Home Video are shooting for a fall release.

Darwyn Cooke, let me have your manbabies

When I got my Absolute New Frontier signed, he was giving away some of the production sketches he did for the animators.

But he was also giving out rough pages he used to plot out the book and now I have the rough page of Superman getting hit by the giant robot. I framed it.

But see you guys live in places that are kind of near actual cons where fans and creators go. It would be a massive undertaking for me to even go to like, the New York Comic Con, or even that one they do in Toronto.

I'm not a big fan of big, crushing crowds, and I don't think I would like San Diego, but something smaller wouldn't be too bad, and the chance to meet Grant Morrison or Mike Mignola would be worth it.

You can't get the full series on dvd over here, but you can pick up some four-episode collections. I found a bunch of them for sale at dirt-cheap prices a couple of days ago and having been steadily working my way through them. One thing has become clear.

The Flash is the greatest hero in the history of forever.

There's a Superman: Doomsday direct to DVD movie coming out. Adam Baldwin is voicing Superman, Anne Heche is Lois (???), and James Marsters is Lex. It's getting a PG-13 rating apparently.

I ordered Batman Beyond Season Two from amazon last week and it got here today and I was all "yessssss" and then I opened it and it was like somebody fucking stomped on the DVD case

the discs seem to be fine, but the plastic holding them is all broken and fuck, I'm returning this for another copy

now I have to wait like a week or two :(

You could probably exchange it for another copy of the same at Walmart, even without a receipt.

That's assuming you can't tell it's damaged just by looking at the outside of the case, because then they'd probably ask why you bought an obviously defective product.
