I really love the Tenchu series.

Are those poorly reviewed? I loved Wrath of Heaven.

Yeah the Tenchu series has been given some average to above average ratings. As clunky as the game was, I found dozens of hours of entertainment in it, especially in co-op.

God I want a new Tenchu for the PS3. And give Ayame back the Wrath move from Wrath of Heaven, please.

    Dungeon Lords: CE

I thought the former was a rather enjoyable shooter with nice art direction, good replay value, great atmosphere and even some scant tactical elements; while the latter was to me a nice throwback to ye olden days of dungeon romping coupled with "modern" action gameplay, despite all its flaws.

    Also, Troika.

Wrath of Heaven was amazing, even the title alone :P.

I assume I'm going to get some flak for this but I really enjoyed playing Bloody Roar 3 (For gamecube) and Bloody Roar 4.

Although 3 was a much better game hands down.

I don't think you're going to get flak for it, the whole point of the thread is games that got bad reviews but that you liked anyway. I'm with you on Bloody Roar, that's a series that I wouldn't mind seeing make a comeback.

I don't think you're going to get that much flak. BR3 is a decent game, and if I remember rightly is the engine on which the Naruto:GNT games are based, which are a favorite among quite a few people around these parts back in the day.

The Dynasty Warriors series, though I'll concede this is a game that really isn't for everyone, and is best taken at small doses (I played Dynasty Warriors 3 and Dynasty Warriors 5 - no burnout whatsoever).

However, I'm really surprised that both Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation games for the GBA are so relatively low-rated. Seriously, easier Fire Emblem with GIANT ROBOTS. What is NOT to like?
