Having recently trashed the attic looking for lego i came upon another curious discover a NES brand new never been out of the box and i was wondering if anyone out in the wide world has any idea of how much a good asking price would be for such an video gaming antique
The fact that they're were so successful means they are all over the place but with the entire box and packaging you're probably only looking at about $50 tops. I'd say hold on to it for a while.
A NES by itself isn't worth much in any condition as far as I know.
The first few that came up in an eBay search were priced pretty high. $50 for just the system with a new 72-pin connector, and $70-80 for those that included a small number of games.
Third-party toploaders aside, original NES systems seem to be worth quite a bit on eBay and Amazon.
I got mine, sealed, for a coffee. Then I tore it open and it doesn't work anymore. Probably should have held on to it as it was my third working NES at the time.

If it is you could get a few hundred for it probably.
So it's opened...prolly not much.

With box and syrofoam, but opened, you're probably looking at $50 to $70.
