    Is it sealed somehow?

If it is you could get a few hundred for it probably.

A NES by itself isn't worth much in any condition as far as I know.

The fact that they're were so successful means they are all over the place but with the entire box and packaging you're probably only looking at about $50 tops. I'd say hold on to it for a while.

New toploading NESs go for $20 on eBay. You won't get more than that.

The first few that came up in an eBay search were priced pretty high. $50 for just the system with a new 72-pin connector, and $70-80 for those that included a small number of games.

Third-party toploaders aside, original NES systems seem to be worth quite a bit on eBay and Amazon.

With box and syrofoam, but opened, you're probably looking at $50 to $70.

I got mine, sealed, for a coffee. Then I tore it open and it doesn't work anymore. Probably should have held on to it as it was my third working NES at the time.

What model - toaster or top loader? What package is it? The original set with ROB for example is much more collectible than the standard action set.

Also, official top-loading (Type 2) NES's are worth much more as they were particularly rare. The Type 2 SNES isn't worth much, however.

    I don't consider that a lot.

    Why not keep it?

Or do you already have a working NES?
