I'm kind of in a little musical rut right now. I want to get more bands/songs but I don't know where to start. Pandora has been, for the most part, failing me. So now I come to you. I have a few genres I like to listen to, so here are some bands I like from each:
Indie-Acousticy:
The Shins
The Decemberists
Wilco
The Kooks
Modest Mouse
Alternative-ish:
+44
Arctic Monkeys
Foo Fighters
Muse
The Strokes
Rooney
Third Eye Blind
The White Stripes
Above all, I think that the vocalist's voice should be somewhat unique, interesting and enjoyable. If that's all good, then I'll probably like it.
Tarkio
Okkervil River
Doves
Jose Gonzales
The Moldy Peaches; Kimya Dawson
Of Montreal
Architecture In Helsinki
Stars
The Black Keys
Islands; The Unicorns
Spoon
Death Cab For Cutie; The Postal Service
Wolf Parade; Sunset Rubdown
The National
Mason Proper
Jets to Brazil; Jawbreaker
you should be able to find something you like from these artists
Thanks for all the suggestions; I've tried all the B182 derivatives except for Box Car Racer, so I might check them out (probably not gonna be able to listen to them though - I hate Tom Delonge).
Some of the pixies songs are good, I might look into them more, I know a couple friends of mine really like them.
I actually do have Against Me! and I like their songs so woo yeah.
Of Montreal seems promising, I just listened to one of their songs on Youtube right now and it was pretty good, same with The Doves.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys! Keep them coming if you want, haha.
Radiohead
Silversun Pickups
Something Corporate
Straylight Run
The Appleseed Cast
Arctic Monkeys
The Ataris
Coheed and Cambria
Copeland
Dashboard Confessional
Five for Fighting
Thrice
Not the sort of music I normally listen to, but I do have one band to recommend that you might like. They've just recently released a new album and have it available for free download on their website. They have a pretty indie sound with a bit of harder classic rock tossed in (which are the songs I enjoy).

Red House Painters/ Sun Kil Moon - sprawling, folky noise-pop
An indie mainstay since the early 90s, Mark Kozelek was one of the pioneers of the slowcore/sadcore sound, which boils down to really slow, heavy, and distorted indie-style music. His style has changed alot over time; the first red house painters releases kind of mixed the shoegaze and lo-fi into something awesome, and then as time went on he embraced folk and country a bit, which has been more and more emphasized in his sound over the course of the years.
A couple of years ago he reworked a handful of modest mouse songs into slow, brooding folk ditties played on unaccompanied, finger-picked guitar. His newest album as Sun Kil Moon just came out on April 1st, and it has Ben Gibbard and Will Oldham (Bonnie Prince Billy) doing backing vocals.

Sorry, I tried to cut down on the ohgodwalloftext. I failed.
Minus the Bear seems right up your alley. Planet of Ice is fantastic, as is Menos el Oso.
There are a lot of indie and indie-pop bands you may want to look into, as well. I don't really listen to much so I can't vouch for a lot of it. * is for stuff that's already been mentioned, but needs reiterating because it seems like just what you're looking for.
Sparta
Rainer Maria
Broken Social Scene
Mates of State
Iron and Wine
Ben Kweller
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
The Appleseed Cast
Braid/Hey Mercedes/The Firebird Band
The Postal Service*/Death Cab for Cutie*
Further Seems Forever/Dashboard Confessionals*
The Pixies*
Jets to Brazil*
I think Weezer (Blue Album and Pinkerton) deserve some love, too.
Also, 'interesting' vocalists, you say?
-Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw/Head Automica) is kind of an acquired taste, but he's one of the most versatile rock vocalists I can think of outside of Brandon Boyd (Incubus, before he got his ego). Seriously, listen to Glassjaw's Babe and Head Automica's Disco Hades II and remind yourself it's the same guy.
-Come to think of it, if you haven't heard Incubus's first two albums (Fungus Amungus and S.C.I.E.N.C.E.), you might want to look into them. Especially S.C.I.E.N.C.E. since you like Foo Fighters. Fungus Amungus is mostly weird for the sake of weird.
-Cedric Bixler-Zavala (At the Drive-In*/The Mars Volta)... is a bit out there for a lot of people. His voice is ridiculous. Think of it like this: Do normal people see the things you like and call it pretentious and/or look at you in confused desperation? Do you like Neon Genesis Evangelion or MGS2 to an unhealthy degree? No? The Mars Volta isn't for you. You may, however, like Sparta, where the other half of At the Drive-In went when they broke up. On the off-chance that you do like The Mars Volta, I'd suggest finding a copy of King Crimson's In The Court Of The Crimson King.
-Tim Kasher (Cursive) sings almost entirely in sarcasm. That's pretty interesting. The Ugly Organ may very well be my favorite album that isn't The Dark Side of the Moon. It's not pretty music, though. It's basically the musical representation of repressed bitterness and self-loathing.
-Geoff Rickley (Thursday) can't really sing at all. Band thought he was tone deaf. Also kind of an acquired taste. If you can get past it, though, Full Collapse is so good. It can be pretty depressing depending on your world view, though.
-Claudio Sanchez (Coheed and Cambria*) not only has a pretty unique voice, but is a massive nerd. He writes a comic series that is the basis for all the band's music. He's also awesome.
-Bob Nanna (Braid/Hey Mercedes) is named Bob Nanna. Look me in the eye and tell me that name isn't fantastic.
Juno - Alternative Band that is in no way related to the movie; they've stopped making music but the two albums they did make were ace and I think you'd like them. (My favorite stuff from them is mostly from the album A Future Lived in Past Tense
Elliott Smith - Pretty 'big' indie-acoustical guy. Offed himself, so his music is sort of stunted, but what he made while he was alive is pretty beautiful. I'd recommend anything you can find.
For god's sake dude, Coheed and Cambria. Sanchez's comics are win, and so are his songs. Listen to "A Favor House Atlantic" & you'll be stunned at this guys voice.
Some indy and alt artist I enjoy:

All right, people. It is not a gerbil. It is not a hamster. It is not a guinea pig. It is a death rabbit. Death. Rabbit. Say it with me, now.
