Are the passwords for the servers being changed around or something? I type in the password, it goes to the map loading screen, then I get kicked with a Bad Password error or something. It's kind of annoying when I have it set to autolog me in when there's room, only to have me shunted from my current pubby, and then back on the streets when (I think it was Job's server) tells me wang is a bad password. This has been going on since the medic updates for me.
Just out of curiousity, what was it for PASMO? I remember looking through the forum, and all I saw was PASMO. I tried using wang, pasmo and PASMO as the password and couldn't get in.
The servers should have the standard password. Are you setting the password in the console using the password command first?
I don't really use the console. I browse for it in my favorites. Click it, it asks for a password, I type in wang, then it goes map load, bad password, and kick. Or if it's full I set it to autojoin, then when there's room it goes map load, bad password, and kick. I am doing something wrong? This used to work just fine for me.
edit: In fact, when I typed the wrong password in the past, it wouldn't even go to the map loading screen, it would just tell me the password is incorrect.
Love the medic pic flippy, good sir. Have to say your screenies are looking pretty spectacular, how well does the 8800gt run tuftoo? I'm probably going to trade in this laptop for a deskie for next year.

I had one the other day that involved me as a scout beating Edcrab (as sniper) with what I think was a drum throne instead of a bat. (I was playing Rock Band that night)

If you want a little perspective, I have an 8800gts (g92 512mb version) This game never dips below 60fps at 1680X1050, everything maxed. The only slowdown I get is internet lag. I'm running it with an E6850 3.0Ghz proc and 2GB DDR2 ram.

I got a very nice PC for 806 US dollars, so you should be able to find something very nice as well, and do it soon, the improvement is massive.
I got it with the 8800GT and everything is maxed, and BEAUTIFUL.

You will climb it while traveling at eighty eight miles per hour on a salt flat.
I would take half the range for double the damage anytime. I mean the only time you would want longer range is if you are chasing someone with the flamethrower out in which case you should probably switch to the shotty.
I think the only way I would take a shorter range flamethrower is if they made the alternate shotgun the SMG or pistol. Pyros already have way limited range. I would rather hope for a Napalm Rocket. Just have it ignite the point of impact with minor splash damage, and maybe even cause people that run through it for the next couple seconds to light on fire for a short time.
Edit: Also I am totally upset an alternate medigun is not the AIDSgun. Using the Medipack against enemies in TFC was so satisfying.
A shorter range flamethrower would be a dumb, you already need to use the closest 50% of the flame to do any good. I still think the alternate flamethrower should be less damage for much stronger flames. Maybe slightly longer range if necessary but not much. It would be useful for situations that are usually too dangerous for Pyros.

Dunno, I got booted for a "reliable screenshot overflow", and couldn't get back into the server since it was full.

Wouldn't that be impossible? I can't remember ever supplying one unit of metal. I thought it was all in intervals of 5 or 10...

Repairs, I think, can run you non-standard amounts of Metal. In any case, finishing the sentry with a very small amount of Metal.
