If I have time I will try to get on to help.
I haven't managed to find any i12 screen threads on the oforums, maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places.

It's been talked about as a scrapper or blaster set. Obviously Thugs MMs ended up getting dual pistols powers first. Also, the I12 content includes an NPC named Lady Jane who has dual pistol power(s) but does not appear to be an MM -- at least as far as I saw; she died pretty quickly on me in the mission she appeared in.
> turn on light
Good start to the day. Pity it's going to be the worst one of your life. The light is now on.

With Spiders, you cannot:
And for both, you cannot:
I didn't expect to have an enormous amount of customization with regards to the Arachnos uniform, but the lack of some of the options (you are locked out of 2/3 of the hairstyles in the game, regardless of gender, as a Widow; Spiders cannot use the "open helmet" style the black Wolf Spiders use; Crabs and Banes cannot go helmetless due to the costumes being half-assed) that should really be in there is just astounding. Not being able to use any Arachnos costume parts in any other costume is ludicrous.
The ATs themselves, with their power selections, branching paths, and overall unique style of play are really well-done. But the whole costume thing is just very disappointing.

Very much so. If Spiders could go helmetless, we had more options for head customization, and we could use some Arachnos parts in other costumes (or even actually make a second Arachnos costume; when you get your second costume slot at level 10, you don't even have the option to make it an Arachnos uniform), almost all of my complaints would go away.
Okay, take that Crab Spider pic S_O posted a ways up the page. The only things you can customize about it are: the backpack (choose whether or not it has a cape); the shoulders (more spiky or less spiky); the legs (thick armored, or thin armored); and whether or not to have the little red Arachnos chest emblem, which is also uncolorable. Same thing for Bane Spiders, except they don't have the crab pack. Wolf Spiders have a lot more leeway, but it's not saying much.

Along with vikings?
Still doesn't explain why Widows have such crippled head options and why at least Wolf spiders cannot go helmetless.

That's limiting what the sensible people can do because of what the dumbarse whingers will say.
Thats Life.

When you spec into Crab Spider, you get the spider leg backpack which is out all the time. It becomes and stays a fixed part of every costume you have, and you cannot remove it unless you spec out of Crab.
