well, Each button is its own production run, so we would assume once that run was done they would ship. They wouldn't do a big batch of everyones at once methinks...

But then again I am not a button slave worker.

But I doubt they have an in-store shipping facility with their own trucks. They're going to pile up a (few) day's work and then have UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS pick it all up and send it out. It's easier to do it all at once than dozens of little shipments, right?

Actually, I would guess the opposite. They want to have the fastest turn around time they can, so they would send an order out immediately when it was ready to ship. I'm sure they probably have a daily shipment.

I'd second this. Many businesses have Fedex drop boxes installed or regularly scheduled daily pick ups. There is no discount that I'm aware of by having them wait until you have a truck full as the packages all go different places anyway.

How nerdy are we that we're discussing the ins and outs of the shipping industry.

I haven't gotten mine that were placed on the 8th of July. Cross-border takes extra time =/ I'll let you guys know when I get mine (I think I'm the earliest ordering Canuck?). All 3 orders have been shipped though.

100 is the new standard... at first it was 50, but we didnt know how big this would get, so yeah, get 100

is there some special procedure for Canadian shipping the state/province drop down doesnt actually have any provinces in it

and should I rush my order?

just put "Shipping to Canada" in the special instructions.

I put "Vancouver BC" as the city, AL as the state and Canada as the country. Might want to email them afterwards just to make sure it went through ok.

As for rushing it, I dunno. I think you still have enough time without rushing the order but who knows.

If you're ordering from Canada, based on how long tr0tsky has had to wait, I'd say that this Friday is absolutely the last day to place a Canadian order.
However, if you instead have your order shipped to someone in the US for them to hold on to it, then you can order up to the 8th as posted.

Answering Sumi's question, I ordered my buttons July 15, they shipped Friday according to the package, and I received them Monday the 28th.

Arrrg this is so frustrating. I live in canada. And everything was done manually. apparently they started production on thursday and the bill was supposed to be taken care of by the billing department on friday but the bill still hasn't been taken care of and there's no way for me to see the status of my order. He expected to have it shipped yesterday but are you supposed to get a confirmation or anything?

And okay whats the deal with this winter0708 thing?

Was that going to be your challenge for obtaining a bonus button? Seems kinda harsh... just sayin'...

you can see your order status by going to purebuttons.com and logging in (link at the top-right). Your orders are listed at the bottom of the page after you log in.

as far as the winter0708 thing goes, that was a promo code you could put in when you made the order for 15% off.

Okay because I gave them that code after I placed the order but before the bill was paid so I hope they use it. Also, when I sign in, I don't have any orders at the bottom of the screen. it just says something like "no orders"

Oddly, it was for the order I placed on the 11th, not the 8th. It showed up as shipped on the same day as the one from the 8th, so I assume I'll get those ones tomorrow or the next day.

Will edit with a pic when my camera battery decides it wants to work. It dies within hours of being off the charger, without being used =(
