Buttons are here but not here, here. I'm like 300 miles away from where here is. However, GF/WF says they are quite baddass. Pics will follow then there will be cake.
Mine came in on Monday. I was going to wait for a better camera but you guys will just have to deal with the crappy phone pics. BTW, I ordered mine on th 15th.

Alright, who gave this thread steroids? Hmmm? Or did you pour miracle grow on it? Feed it mushrooms from Mario Bros? Seriously, every time I check this forum it's doubled in size!
It's way cool that everyone is this excited. I'm pumped to meet all you buttoneers *sees ukiyo e's copyright lawyers out of the corner of his eyes* er, I mean, buttonaugts and exchange buttons!
For those who want a T button, I only got 64 and probably won't order more. Scarcity will drive their value through the roof! Bwahahaha! They will, however, be available at the Pre-Pax Breakfast run. (Another shameless plug, I know). :winky:

I'm very excited to see how the differing amounts people have purchased will effect the Buttonomics.

Well, if we're shamelessly plugging events in the name of early button trading. The CCST rolls into town on Thursday the 28th at 2pm. You can watch that happen and catch many of our button-carrying population at the lower level entrance of the WSCTC. There might be more than one, the one we'll be stopping at has a passenger load/unload zone adjacent to where the charter buses are. It's underneath another roadway, so you'll have to go through the convention center to get to it (i think).
I have to make sure to attend as many community things as possible. I want to get rid of 99 of mine in exchange for 99 different pins to cover my back pack when I go travelling in the fall!
So, I emailed Purebuttons.com about ordering more of the same design, here's their reply:
"Yes, we can get them to you no problem.
The total will be $32 (including shipping)
Please let me know if you'd like to move ahead and we'll get them into production for you as soon as yo give the ok.
Thanks,
Joe

The really weird thing, is that to order a brand new set, this time with my forum name on (cos I couldn't work out how to do it last time). the order comes to $18.40!, Including shipping to the UK.
Needless to say, I've placed a new order, and here is the new picture:
HotSake truly is the man. Does this mean they are aware of the Buttoneers now, as I assume they don't actively read the forums? It'd be cool to meet and greet them and be all like "So,whatcha think of my buttons?", and Jerry would be all like "Coo coo, much better than that HotSake's", and Mike would interject "Have my baby, redhalo!"
These came in last week but I haven't had time to post them. Only have 64 though, and probably wont be ordering more. Looking forward to meeting some of you at the pre PAX dinner though.
To quote some other internet forum with much lower standards: This thread is full of win.
The buttoneering, I think, will make this first PAX for me that much greater. Every day I look at the pile of buttons on my desk, and smile thinking about how in less than a month they will almost all be gone, traveling the world, and have a bunch of fellow travelers in their place.
We need to make sure that it is mentioned, OFTEN, that on Sunday after PAX is over, we are all going to meet in a central location to finish our checklists, trade the last of the buttons, and say final goodbyes. I believe the latest idea was the Sheraton lobby. If anyone in Seattle knows of a better place (within short walking distance of PAX and the surrounding hotels) please say something.

That sounds perfect jonxp! If I make it to PAX, I'll be there for sure.
And that's totally awesome that we got mentioned on Purebutton's blog! We probably paid their business expenses for the last three months with all the action we've been sending their way.
Sonofabitch. I just read the Button post and didn't know there was a 15% off coupon code!!!
Dammit!
Oh well.
A few bucks, not too bad.
Well, I think we need to start hammering down a location on sunday for the buttoneers meeting... Obvious choice is the Pike place market, but thats several blocks away... *scratches head*

He has buttons.
I'll get him to link an image when he's off work tonight.
And register on the checklist.

To get this one you must tell me one truth and one lie about yourself....I never get to know which is which....
And here's the design I'll probably end up using...

Yeah, that would be pretty sweet.
Oh by the way.
I'm loving the designs some of you have decided to go with.
Also, quick, everyone keep viewing this thread! The newbie thread is trying to beat us in page views!!

Win! Not only are many of the Enforcers are gonna reside there--and me as well--but it is super convenient.
And ukiyo e, total getting the LHH Button from me 'cause of coining "Buttoneers".
