So am I the only one reading Green Lantern?

    [spoiler:805dfe38fb]
The 52 thing at the end of the latest issue?

    The path?

One of the guardians going to deal with Henshaw?

Anyone else think this is going to end up with Hal taking Henshaws side against the Guardians once he finds out what their big secret is?

The artwork was great this week..but Kevin Nowlan's pencils on the Adam Strange origin? Ugh.

I am also convinced that Archbishop Lobo needs and action figure.

    No.

    No.

I do have a suspicion that Rayner is going to play a major part in it* though, considering that this weeks Ion actually went somewhere.

    Guys, I got a thought...

[spoiler:9cf9b77e28]Supernova's logo is that of the Galaxy Broadcasting System. He's been seen teleporting and moving matter. Rip Hunter's lab specifically said "The Old Gods are dead, and the new ones want what's left." And we've seen supernova breaking into Batman's Batcave.

Guys, Darkseid is behind Supernova. And all of 52.

Space Technology? Intergang invasion? Teleportation technology? Stealing superman's weaknesses? Darkseid, baby.[/spoiler:9cf9b77e28]

Eh, I don't buy it. [spoiler:3cff92b78a]For me, when Clark Kent said that Supernova was a good guy, and that he had experience and felt noble or whatever, that was the end of the discussion. The dude just knows these things, he's like a living gauge for goodness. Don't get me wrong, it makes sense, it just seems unlikely. Though I have to say, it'll be interesting if Booster died having seen something nobody else saw, and pursuing a fight in spite of the better judgement of everyone else, leading to his death. Him and Beetle can sit up in Heaven and mock the other superheroes when they get their shit wrecked.[/spoiler:3cff92b78a]

Well since we're under the impression he can get Sue back if he earns the mantle of Dr. Fate, he'll probably blow the whole damn world up if he has to, to get her back. I have feeling we will see levels of badass never seen before. I expect Ralph to shank the demon-god-king right in the eye to getwhat he wants, then he'll get it and put out the other just because he can......or something else to that effect.

Does anyone remember when Wizard put out some vague spoilers for the future of the DCU, and one of the things said something like, "Ralph Dibny hooks up with a new woman (Or maybe a man!)" A lot of people thought they were going to throw Ralph into a relationship during 52, or turn him gay. But I'm thinking it may have just been talking about Fate's helmet.

The problem is I can't find the big list of spoilers online anywhere, so I can't check how the phrase was worded. Anyone know what I'm talking about/have the list on hand?

Also, did this week's Ralph moment make it more or less likely that he's going insane and hallucinating?

The part about hooking up with a new woman/man makes me think of Dr.Occult. But that's probably because I know practically nothing about Dr.Fate.

    Aagh.

Just read week #21. I don't know why, but it really, really got to me.

[spoiler:84c402e1aa]I could feel my heart beating faster with every turn of the page. I actually mouthed the word "No" when Luthor's hand touched the control panel and turned off Trajectory's power.

I don't know what it was, they've been killing big name characters off left right and center lately, but... the death of Trajectory, who's been in all of two issues probably affected me more than all that put together. Maybe it was the youthful exuberance she had in the beginning, maybe it was her desire to be just like her hero, Flash... but it totally bummed me out when she died.

And the banner, Eliza Harmon... aagh. I really liked her. She was the only Luthor Inc. character that seemed halfway interesting. I wish they'd kept her around for longer.[/spoiler:84c402e1aa]

So yeah, this is probably the best 52 I've read so far.

[spoiler:84c402e1aa]RIP Trajectory. Why do the good always die so young?[/spoiler:84c402e1aa]

Well, she was in that JLA arc that was after Crisis of Conscience. But it was bad enough that I stopped buying it mid-arc. For reference, the only other time I've failed to ride out an entire arc or story was in Bruce Jones' Vigilante series, and the newest Flash series.
