Oh, I just thought I'd add something. Someone mentioned the strong women characters, especially their acting in issue 5, and I thought I'd chime in. Basically what we have here is your standard action movie with the rogue loner who Knows The Truth but can't get the stiffs to listen, or they are the enemy. But in this case Chuck Norris in Invasion U.S.A. isn't just one commando/super-spy, but three or four. And like I mentioned in an earlier bitchfest about Ms. Marvel, every major spy in Marvel is a woman. In this case it's Nick Fury, Black Widow, Agent Brand kicking ass. It's a built-in sysytem to showcase the ladies.
EDIT: And Maria Hill. I couldn't remember her effing name when I was typing this in a hurry.
Anyone have any ideas on how the Void thing will play out? Or the mystery item Skrull-pym gave the Wasp? I wonder if they will even be featured in the main series. We still got several other sub-plots to resolve(Ms. Marvel, Noh-varr, Skrull-Mar-vell).
Edit: I guess those last things I mentioned are more major plot points than minor sub-plots.
