I was kidding. I'm guessing they felt that ending it at #131 would obligate people to buy the next omnibus, even though ending it at #138 (to get the Dark Phoenix aftermath issue) would have made more sense. That way, you lead off the next volume with the "Wolverine in Canada" adventure, and Days of Futures Past.
I really hope they release a second essential Dazzler
I'm surprised there was enough "Essential Dazzler" for a first volume. I'm not sure how they'd fill a second.
Disclaimer: I have never read any of the comics starring her, and have really only seen her as a guest star in old spider-man comics. Perhaps you could enlighten me on the greatness of Dazzler?

All appearances of Dazzler are Essential, so I could see a V2.

I just looked uup Dazzler on wiki and considering I've never heard of her outside hte xmen cartoon where she looks nothing like the picture on that wiki-page, shes in a lot of shit.
looks like they killed Kly'bn. I guess there is another "He" after all. Someone at my comic shop mentioned the Beyonder as a possibility but I still think it could be Doctor Strange.
What interests me is how the death of the skrull god will affect the main book. People only reading the main series and not reading Herc I'm sure will expect some kind of answer to his identity. I guess I just expected Kly'bn to be some sort of red herring. Jeezus, issue 6 can't get here soon enough.
You know after reading that New Avengers #44 preview, it seems the skrulls didn't know what to do to retaliate until Reed threw his two cents on how the skrulls could infiltrate without being detected.
Skimming through next weeks Mighty Avengers preview, would it have been that hard for Marvel to change the solicit to actually reflect what's going on in the book? I know Bendis through them a curve ball when he decided to hold of on the Captain Marvel/Marvel Boy story for another Hank Pym story but are solicits set in stone no matter what?

Also you should read X-Men: Legacy dude, it's pretty much written for people like you and me.
I mean, really? thats the best place to break the collection?
well not the middle, but the Mastermind shit has already started by then
The second I have as part of Essential Dazzler, but not the actual issue.
bah screw that then
i'd rather have a full-color trade of the pertinent issues anyway

And she has beaten Doom:
And the Hulk:
And Galactus:
so excited
Also, how in the hell could Doctor Strange or the Beyonder be "he"? An Earth Hero or an incredibly powerful celestial who used to be an Inhuman?
I agree with you here, there's
It's like, "hahah! Your Satan is attacking you, your anti-christ got out, and your God and Jesus were just smushed."
bad things come in threes.

Yeah, I shoulda realized that even if you change the solicit online, the printed form would still be wrong. Still, the story looks interesting...
It came out already. Wasn't as good as his previous commentaries and didn't even give that good of a preview for issue 6.
