Hope - Felmyst finally dies on Thursday. We've been cockblocked for a whie (8% best attempt last week) and need to get her dead. We've been a bit light on raid healing the past couple weeks and may need to start spinning up recruiting again.

Happy: My new guild decided to actually take me raiding for once as I had a day off work. Breezed through Black Temple through to Bloodboil (would have done Teron as well if server maintenance hadn't been extended by 13 hours) and Akama dropped the Amice of Brilliant Light for my restoey goodness.
We then formed up 10 of our best geared players (me offtanking in full t4 since our t6 feral had work) and got our very first bear mount in ZA literally with 5 seconds to spare cos people went for a smoke before the Lynx

Happy: My guild has finally cleared ZA. We spent an entire night last night wiping on Zul'jin, getting him to 1% once and 2% twice. Tonight we buff, go in, and down him 1st try with just 1 dead guy who was rebirthed for lynx.
Hope: Now that we have the instance cleared, we can work on getting chests which we seem to suck on doing. Every run so far tends to have Eagle fucking up someone to make us lose a chest.
Hate: My woeful rogue. Seriously, no-one on my rogues server ever does any pugs. And I have horrible gear.
Happy?: Might re-roll as a Blood Elf on a PvP server. I like PvP servers..
Hate: Levels 1-30 God, I swear if I do Barrens and Ashenvale once more, I'm going to rip someone's arms off. And then beat myself to death with them.
Happy: Revered with the Shattered Sun on my warrior. The axe is nice because I'm lazy and haven't leveled blacksmithing yet.
Hate: No tank drops, again. I did get a ret cloak and necklace and like six pieces of healing gear though. /sigh
Amused: There's a WTF thread on maintankadin about my boyfriend's Tempest of Chaos with Mongoose on it. At least I assume it's about him because the paladin who posted it is from an Alliance guild on our server.

Well one of my druids went all emo and quit on the guild tonight.
Apparently being told that no, 58 spell hit is NOT enough for a boomkin in t5 content with sub 1000 spell damage was just too much for his fragile little ego. This was AFTER I tried numerous times to tell him how to get up to snuff in like less than 2 hours, but no, he wouldn't listen because he's so leet.
And I quote- "Man, you're losing someone who knows how to play!"
If you knew how to play, you'd know how to gear you self righteous little twit.
Last night I since I am locked out of my warlock because they are slowly transfering over. I deceided to play my priest. My priest being level 66 and seeing a group looking for a healer for Crypts I ask them. I returned whisper asked what my healing was at right now. 703, I was then told it was not good enough for a crypts run
I spec'd out of shadow for this?
Or it could be that they wanted a level 70 to hold thier hand in there

We've had the same luck with Conq shoulders. In 4 weeks we had 11 Conq/1 Vanq. My token is currently going for minimum for offspec, the other two are going for 500-800. (That's 2-3 weeks worth of dkp)
Seething: Sunwell requiring so many Gdamn healers. This guild I'm in is a fairly tight-knit group, and I've come to love seeing the same faces day in and day out. Our normal healing core is pretty reliable, but that core is only 7-8 deep. While annoying as hell, it leads me to:
Somewhat relieved: We've done a bit of recruiting, and picked up another Paladin/Priest. Sadly, this does nothing for one of our Resto Shamans that has turned "casual" on us. Dunno' why either. ><

illhoof with no aoe to speak of = 1 min 45 secs
Monday night our DPS rocked, but people kept dying. Best attempt: 50% phase 2 due to people running out of the damned group. Oh well, learning experience.
Last night we only got into phase 2 once or twice, best shot being around 75% before the enrage annihilated us.
While there were of course personnel changes between the two nights, I think we traded 1 healer for a dps. That said, we had lots of paladins healing, and much as I love 'em, raid wide damage really doesn't suit their style in bulk. An extra resto druid or shaman would've been a godsend, but even a holy priest might've been better.

It wasn't a big deal for Sunday/Monday/Tuesday as we have other tanks that can fill in, but tonight we hope to clear out BT (Council & Illi) and he's one of our really good FR tanks. That in combination with one tank going camping for the weekend, one flying to Cali, one has to work... I think we're down to 3 that have even been to those two bosses before. >.< Stupid holiday weekend and people's vacations!
Secret Hope:
In addition to the two tanks, we have 2 of our static healers, our DPS officer, and like... many other people going on vacation this weekend so we may not have enough to raid. While I truely love raiding, a weekend off might be kinda nice; I could finally get my Shaman to 70, start her on the SSO dailies for the JC patterns, have someone carry her through Kara for some gear, grind out the rest of the 40k honor on my priest for the new PvP trinket, farm out some Alchemy BoP recipes on my Rogue, and much much more!
Happiness: The tank that fried his video card was the one that led our rawrbear ZA's on Wednesdays. We decided to try anyway, with a bizarre setup and only about half of our static run there. Will still managed to get it done, and then retired to IF for our Wednesday night RP extravaganza. (And I met Transporter, yay)
