I've been playing (read: dying at) Nethack recently, after getting jazzed into the Roguelike genre with Shiren and Baroque. And while I actually like the ascii graphics alot, I thought I'd give a tileset a try. The one I actually have is a 32x32 tileset based on Something Awful emoticons, FYI. However, my dilemma seems to be that I have no idea how to install the tileset into the game.
If I could get some instructions on how to go about doing this, I would be vastly thankful.
into the defaults.nh file in your nethack folder (you're running the Windows version, right?), where you replace the tiles32x32.bmp with the name of your tile file, and put in the appropriate values for the width and height of a single tile within the tile file.
