Future Releases:
Full list is here. Take every future release date with a grain of salt, even publishers don't know when Nintendo will put their game up.
I bought a wifi router for this, and the Nintendo Channel. When will World of Goo be released? That's what I'm really interested in, although Lost Winds looks like Kirby's Canvas Curse WII, which is a GOOD thing. Depending on the reviews of the Animals of the Dead game, I'm down with zombie shooting too.
So apparently that Lost Wind game is by Braben, or at least his company. He was one of the two that made Elite back in the day. Suddenly I'm interested.

It seems so far to be less about platforming as in "don't fall or you die" and more about exploration. Getting new moves and reaching new areas.
Maybe just getting you used to the gameplay? Will be interesting to know how long the game is.
I'm debating buying Lostwinds and Defend Your Castle. The only other one (of the games out today) that kind of interests me is the Final Fantasy one but I'm in no mood to have to pay extra just to unlock stuff.

So far the list of titles looks kinda lackluster. We got a game you can get for free over the internet, a game that's way overpriced (fuck you Squeenix), and a bunch of other games that seem like shovelware. Has anyone played far enough into Lost Winds to tell whether it's good or not?

It wouldn't be so damn overpriced if they didn't add all the micro transactions. I like simulations but I don't like being beat over the head with the greedy stick.

Nontheless, it look like the Squeenix tax is in full effect here. It doesn't even look like a Final Fantasy game, you could probably slap any title on there and it wouldnt make a difference.
i think defend your castle might actually be pretty cool, but only if its a sizable upgrade from its flash counterpart. anywho, i'll putting up the wiipoints once i read a few more impressions
I nearly exploded with joy when I discovered Defend Your Castle would be availible on my Wii like two days before I get home from college. Best thing ever.

Most people I have talked with have been quite happy with FF:CC, and they say that nothing is really "missing" from standard version. It's pretty long too (over 20 hours or something like that).

Crap, I may have to get that also.
Dammit Nintendo, hurry up and come up with a hard drive solution!

Any reviews for CC or Lost Winds anywhere? I'll probably get one of them today, but I don't know which.
There will be about 2-3 pages on why we need more storage space on the Wii. So lets not let this discussion degenerate to that. Seriously, you're preaching to the choir here.
I haven't dove too deeply into lost winds but I will say that it's a wonderful game and feels me with joy. If I didn't have to go to work i'd give some better impressions but I will say it's better than 80% of the wii titles your going to find in the local shop.
On the review front, I'm actually rather surprised IGN hasn't done so yet, at least for Lost Winds. I mean, they were slobbering all over themselves in the previews.

Good enough for me, that's what I'll be getting.
Cool, I've got some extra Wii Points left so after I hear a few more impressions I'll probably get that.

Excellent.
Glad to know the impressions the trailers gave weren't false.
I'll be buying come the 20th, I think.
Why is there absolutely no mention of the Dr. Mario game, or that WiiWare launches in Europe on the 20th?
Yeah, isn't the Dr. Mario game up?
Not this week apparently. I'm going off the Nintendo PR and it only listed the 6 games you see above (and a quick look through the WiiWare store confirms it). I would guess they decided to spread releases out, FF:CC is a big title and they don't want both competing in the same week.

Impressions?
I want to play Pop. And I'd play TV Show King, but only if there was internet play.

As far as my most anticipated titles go, I'm looking forward to World of Goo and Animales De Muerte.
I needed to free some space...
a shame it is not there yet

Yeah it's 15 bucks but it looks like it's pretty neat.
I'll figure out whether any of the DLC is worth it once I figure out if the base game is worth it.

Gamerankings and Google turn up nothing for either one when it comes to reviews.

I'm especially peeved because I have 900 wii points, I need 1000 for Lostwinds, and I want it NOW.
