Figured this was a good place to ask. Ive been on a psone game buying spree lately and im trying to find this game that i used to have. All i remember about it was that it was a RPG and that you went on dates with girls to upgrade your weapons. Does anyone know what game this is?

I have one that's been bugging me for a while.

Are there any 2D platformers where, in one of the levels, you jump around on a giant musical note chart? I want to say it's an Amiga game, but I can't for the life of me remember.

    Zool maybe?

    That definitely rings a bell.

Well, could be, but I don't remember anything from Zool other than fucking CHUPA CHUPS.

Edit: Just checked a longplay on Youtube, and while there is a musical themed level that features very rudimentary note charts, it's not the droid I'm looking for.

I'm talking jumping on the notes themselves!

Yeah, they really did overdose on that product placement didn't they?

EDIT: Can you give any more detail? I did think maybe James Pond, Robocod or perhaps one of the Dizzy games.

Rayman 1 had a musical level where you were platforming around amongst notes.

I don't think it's Robocod, since it didn't have very creative or interesting level design. I only played Treasure Island Dizzy and the one where he's in a fairytale land, and it's not either of those.

Basically, imagine a giant note chart, and then jumping from note to note, going upwards (or downwards) to reach the end. I seem to recall the game having a cartoony aesthetic that's similar to Mickey Mania. I don't know if I'm making the game up, as I can't recall anything else about it, including the character, but I am pretty sure I have jumped around on a giant note chart at some point in my life.

Edit: I did think about Rayman, but that was a more colourful, jazzy level. The one I'm thinking about was purely black and white, like a real note chart

This probably isn't right, but in the Aladdin game, didn't you jump around on notes sometimes in the Genie level?

I seem to recall being able to peer off the side, where there was a dark/grey background.
