The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I have a newly acquired laptop that I'm using to do my Lighting Control bids, but I have the version of the program "Infusion Design Center" that we got with the training course I attended a few weeks back. The training version does not have my pricing. I went to the dealer site, downloaded the software with the pricing and went to uninstall Design Center. When the uninstall progress bar fills up, I get a message saying I can only do that from an administrator account. Thing is, I'm using the only user account on the computer, and it is an admin.
If you're following a shortcut through the Start Menu or such, right click on it, and select "Run As Administrator". Even when you're running an admin account, some things need to be specifically run like that in order to run correctly.
Lock this. It was giving me a pop-up in the background asking if I'd like to allow this program called "unknown publisher" to run. Normally I'd click "no" on something as dubious as that, but I got the pop-up at the same point in the uninstall twice in a row on a new admin account I just made, so I clicked "Yes" the second time through. It's gone now.
