Ah looks like the pillaging has taken a toll... this city now yields only 72k per run

If anyone were looking for pillage targets in my neighborhood, there's a city with 3.5mil gold on my island, with less military than me and no alliance.
I think the climate in the middle is a bit different than out on the wild frontiers.
Okay, so I let that guys blockade hit without resistance and went to the bar not knowing what sort of land force he was gonna send at me. I get home and see the battle is still raging. His offensive power is 3,526, mine is 3,912. Way closer than I'd like, but I've still got the lead, no wonder it's such a long battle. Then I look at defensive power. He has 2,982 and 818 stamina. Respectable. Very beefy force.
I have 12,192 defense and 2,224 stamina.
Yeah, dude, fuck off. He's lost 46 archers and I've lost 15 assorted dudes.
Edit: Err, apparently there are 52 more manz arriving to the battle in 10839 days 0 hours and 51 minutes. I'm not sure what to make of that.
hmm it really does look like you lose your upgrades in the second round of battle. no matter. my army is rolling in a few minutes from now to torchwood. I do hope they get along. There seemed to be some disagreement between my navy and theirs.
Does anyone know if area and Tamorlane from WPAX are still active? I think I'll need marble for colony #2, and those two are both occupying a marble island close by. If not, I'll make my way north to the promised land.

I've had two of my ships stuck doing that for the past two or three days, I think it is because someone else was blockading him so my 2 ships got double redirected and either they are lost or sailing across the universe.
Woo, new record! Troop Movements (19), and that's not counting the incoming fleet. :P
Mines at 17 right now you win on that front too. I run out of gold a lot and my army suffers from it. Also my first island was sulfur, so I should get a handicap. It was just peaking 100k a few days ago then I lost my money from working and my military dropped like a rock to ~35-40k but in two days I've gotten it back to 150k with my huge cash influx from finding some good rich targets recently. I like the changes.

Third'd. Professional army is worthless without some sort of supply of sulfur, and you'd need a decent population to fund the upkeep of those troops. Expansion not only opens up the possibility of colonies, but it's required to raid islands outside of your home chain as some PAers pointed out to me. No contest.
Now, it seems to me that if you just take the regular link to trade, replace "takeOffer" with "plunder" in your address bar and press enter, now you're raiding them instead. And hey, it works!
So no more tracking down the city location; just hit it.

Beowulf Villa is still unprotected, it's at Noophaos[85:54] and nets you quite a lot of marble and wine. I haven't bothered checking out his other cities, I don't want to put my other cities on the line of fire here.
Looks like Dville has rebuilt his capital forces. I am currently working on reducing his other towns, but I may pay a visit to his capital later. Although I'm not sure I have quite enough ships to take out his fleet

it is my belife that Freedom and Peace will win the game and have made non verbal alliancies with players all over the place..
ask anyone i am a Fair trader and am Not into wasting resources..that ship is soemething i find rather spendy to replace..
the round after this will go to you..the one after will go to ME.. the one after will begin to reflect what i have been saying all along..many small people can bring down the largest alliance.. dont bother..
