Well, there goes that target. :(
13000 a shot, and now there is no gold anymore. At all.
Curiously, the same is true of another one, despite being inactive. And that seems a little unusual.

For anyone who uses Kronos Utils, I'd recommend updating it. There have been some neat new tweaks put in.

Holy crap, my score dropped like 10k points and over 1000 spots on the rankings.

    Weird, mine did too. I was 100 something with a 69000 score. Now I'm 1100 with a 29000 score.

The guy I've been pillaging has totally lost all their gold as well. They had over 100k left, and I was only getting 300g a shot.

My pillages have gone all sorts of wonky tonight. Local inactives that always gave 7 boatloads giving gold only, etc. Thing Beta is busted again.

I also use the following mods:

    ikariam alarm and overview table
    ikariamscorelinker
    ikariam transporter

Google for them, or check in the mod links in the OP. Things require a lot less clicking, and there's a lot more information at your fingertips.

Yea I use them already! :P

Some of the updates(new kronos update), like the cities bar when you click on your buildings; look similar to what they offer if you pay for "pro" version.

Military action has begun against Keren of GOW on Delta. At this time, I ask that you not attack Keren unless Keren had already attacked you (see message below).

Also, I have just sent the following message to the diplomat of GOW:
We are undertaking military action against Keren's city of Krowta-2 on Swamios [62:65]. This is not an alliance action; only cities who have been attacked repeatedly by Keren are taking part.

I understand from your charter that you encourage military action and that you let your members deal with resulting counterattacks on their own; I hope and trust that you will follow that.

Separately, I understand from your charter that all of your cities are expected to donate significantly to the local mill and quarry; while Keren has donated, another of your members on this island, ezperanza, has not donated. I have already asked ezperanza about this, but they chose to go into vacation mode without ever responding to me. Here are the current highest donors, and ezperanza's own donations:

    Mill:
Ankara IV KENT 25,261 Level 16 241 Workers
    CityWhoChips Darian 25,000 Level 16 242 Workers
    Krowta-2 Keren 22,578 Level 15 216 Workers
Puerto Princeza ezperanza 2,020 Level 15 227 Workers

    Quarry:
    Krowta-2 Keren 70,000 Level 15 242 Workers
Ankara IV KENT 58,523 Level 16 363 Workers
    CityWhoChips Darian 20,000 Level 16 357 Workers
Puerto Princeza ezperanza 4,000 Level 15 227 Workers

FF3 since RC1 has been leaps and bounds better than FF2, for me at least. Memory management is a lot better, and once they fixed the stupid bug where it'd crash anytime I right clicked an image or link, it's been great.

There's a new RC out, you might give it another try.

But, in more important news from the Delta server, I offer the following:

Keren is punished with great loot taken!
Outcome of the Battle Battle for Krowta-2
    Darian from CityWhoChips
    Incognito from Sweet Prize
     vs Keren from Krowta-2

     Offensive power: (4,167) 4,591 Offensive power: 113
     Defensive power: (3,148) 3,424 Defensive power: 229
     Stamina: (1,106) 1,298 Stamina: 48
    - Town wall: 96%
    Combat is finished
    Victors: Darian, Incognito
    Remaining troops (-Losses)
    Swordsman 59(-5) 19(-5)
    Gunsman 22(-3) 3(-3)
    Ram 2(-0) Ram 1(-0)
    Cook 4(-1) 1(-1)
    Archer 19(-1) 3(-1) Archer 14(-13)
(no phalanx for me) Phalanx 12(-9)
Darian from CityWhoChips has won the battle and pillages Krowta-2.

    Loot
    Gold: 2,117 Building material: 4,714 Marble: 3,245

Comment from the battle report: even non-upgraded units only seemed to benefit from the first breach of the wall; my gunsmen went from 80 attack to 88, but never went higher than that, even with additional wall breaches. My upgraded units (swords, archers) didn't even get the first breach bonus. Which is to say, I am now firing all my rams and catapults, to be rebuilt in the future if the walls and upgrades are ever actually fixed.

Detailed battle report, if anyone is interested:

Rebuilding my hideouts is tedious, but at least it's nice having them work again. The Iron Curtain shall rise again!

As it turns out, there was an easy solution to getting around the "unable to train spies" bug. If you dispatch a spy from an infected hideout, you can train a new one while the other one is on his way. I probably should have read through the entire spy bug topic on the boards earlier.

Edit: It is also very, very nice to have my hideouts dispatch only ONE spy per city again.

This GOW guy is giving me 2kw/2k marble per hit:) Kind of makes up for his annoyances. Have a blockade in place as well so he will have trouble reinforcing/ returning his troops. Best case scenario is that his main army is deployed from there and he wastes money shuffling about.

Right now the highest Barracks you'd ever need is L24...when Bombardiers build at optimum rate.
I think L20 is the optimum level to push out Steam Giants...beyond 20, you only gain a couple of minutes. Since SG's are really the most cost effective high end unit, that's all I care about.

I'm personally trying for L22's at each town...so if a spy ever DOES get in, it looks like I have the ability to make Bombardiers...potentially deterrent enough.

It's the people that think they just need SG's that I love.
I hit this one guy yesterday that was defending his city with just 6 of them, nothing else. They are pretty easy to topple if you have upgraded SG's and a good force of swordsmen to absorb the hits.

The best strategies seem to be around having mixed forces - always surround powerful/expensive units with cheaper/cost effective units to soak up random damage.

That being said I've not ever sent out my SGs, they just kick about the town crushing cradles and getting caught in low hanging laundry
