since everyone has agreed upon their roles, all races are allowed in the core save of course Ewoks... and Gungans. fuck gungans. and rodians. nah rodians are cool. I may persecute you though.
the knights should coordinate with their padawans so you don't end up with a Force Wizard and a Thug with a Lightsaber. 34 point-buy and try to stick with Core stuff.
I don't actually own scum and villainy so that's out... and i'm not too fond of the Arcona. and yeah probably no Force Powers from the other supplements.
I'm going to keep this as grassroots as possible I think.
EDIT: hmm, reading up more on the Arcona I think they're okay, actually. go ahead.
What I'm looking at is basically just before the Clone Wars. You've got master-padawan teams who are tasked with more and more difficult missions - i mean, the battle of Geonosis is going to happen pretty quickly, not gonna lie.
I think I'm going to have to go with the Twi'lek investigator. I had an NPC who was a master to two of the PCs in a group I was GMing. The timeframe for this game is perfect to run him as a PC.
Roron totally saves them with his force bellow from General Grievous. What a coincidence that we are also fighting General Grievous (or have something to do with him).

If so, I'm in. New characters?
i'll probably up the point-buy and go with levels 8 and 5. thoughts?
How are you going to decide which people are the knights and which are ze padawans? A Random method could be fun.
I like random

I was thinking of playing either a Gand (race found in Scum and Villainy) or an Arcona, from a Planet Hoppers update on the WotC site.

What are you thinking about going for, jc?
don't put down too much recent backstory, Jedi Knights - I'm going incorporate that sort of stuff into the in-game fluff (ie who your master was, etc)
homeworld and stuff before the most recent times is fine, though. padawans are, of course, free to write whatever they feel necessary.
