The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Tournament was held Sunday (5.18.08) against Evil Avatar. Penny Arcade came out victorious against Evil Avatar on both Gravelpit and Goldrush. Evil Avatar put up a great fight but, we pulled it out. Great job to everyone that particapated.
-If you would be interested in organizing another match feel free to PM me so that you will have permissions to the steam group and start a new thread and get it going :!!:
I played a little on the Evil Avatars server yesterday while waiting for a spot on the PA servers. They had some pretty good players but it was hard to tell since it is a pub on tuesdays. I prolly averaged a 2 to 1 kill to death ratio but that isn't good or bad since I was playing as a solider. I might play their on Thursday which is the day the server is password protected.
They did have a pretty neat place to build a sentry on the first point of goldrush, It is pretty effective if you have multiple engineers but just like all sentries once you know where it is, it goes down pretty fast.
Woooo, this should be fun times. I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it, but then I remembered I CAN!
Another completely pointless message brought to you by me.
SourceTV should be activated by someone with a good with a good connection. we should learn to set relay proxies, and use a tv_delay command of about 90.
tv_delaymapchange 90 also will make it so sourceTV doesn't screw up when the map changes.
Oh yea, when I was trying to join Source TV while a server was full, I kept getting some kind of error message. I'll post it once I try again, but I was never able to get it to work.
I'm assuming the sign-ups were in the regular TF2 thread? I knew I should check that thing more often. I want to play medic in a proper match some time I know I'd be good at it, even with my ridiculous UK ping.

The problem with the proxy is that Jon or I can't just magically type a server command and turn our servers into SourceTV proxies. It has to be run by someone hosting their own server, which usually means consumer broadband and less than stellar upload performance. With voice off on the server and a delay set I think performance should be fine for up to 50 or so people without the proxy. The last game I watched was fine as long as voice was off.
the one time you did the commentary for match in the sourceTV i hosted was smooth, but it kept on panning to an area and would hold there for a few seconds.
i'm wondering why it did it - it didn't do it in the first map, only the subsequent maps.
If yall want, I can do generic PA sprays for the team to use that day. Including your name with whatever small quote you want "You just had hot dickings by PA's Tyrannus" etc. It looks like a piece of paper curled with some blood spatters. Pretty easy to add/exchange names/text so let me know.

I know what's going on here. You're going to install an engineer spy on the opposing team, get him to build a teleporter facing into a wall with a spray of something along the lines of 2girls1cup.
That would be awesome, I need mine to say something about being an asshole.
Also on a different note. There are still 8 players that still have not contacted me about being about to make it, and there's only 5 spots left. (this is first contact me first fill the spot basis for the remaining 8, which ive seen some of them post on the other forum today... edcrab...) So if anyone talks or see's any of these players please tell them to get with me so I may fill all these spots and determine which map squad everyone is going to be on. Please help me get the word out.

Thanks, registration was open for 2 weeks.
I'll be watching on Source TV, laughing. The meat grinding will be fucking absurd.

I don't like how I'm in the "unable to go" list, but it's fine.

wrt sprays: I'm still trying to get my Jughead spray transparent, but if not perhaps you could make an "It is a grenade party!" spray for me Prosp!
