CPU Fan not turning on

Ok, so I just finished putting together my new desktop

I've plugged everything in(double checked actually. Got a few plugs left over, but nothing that's power related)

And I plugged in the PSU

Flipped it on.

Pressed the power button

And watched as everything proceeded to sit there and do nothing.

So, PSU problem? Should I run out and get another one? Or did I mess something up?

Double check all the connections. Does anything at all happen? Do the fans spin up for just a second and then nothing more, or are there any beeps or a little LED lighting up on the motherboard or do you really get nothing at all?

Do you have another computer that you can cross test power supplies with?

I'm sure you already did this, but make sure you actually flipped the power supply On, and not Off.

Nothing happens at all. No lights, no fans, no drives spinning up.

Also I don't have anything that I can cross-check the PSU.

And yeah, I basically flipped the switch on, then thought maaaybe I had gotten confused, so switched it off, and it didn't help.

HA! Ok I got it, it was the power switch connector.

But now I have a new problem! The CPU fan isn't spinning. It spins once, then stops, then spins a little, then stops.

And the other fans all work fine.

Does it make it to POST?

or does it just spin up and down infinitely?
Had that happen to me when the RAM wasn't seated properly.
